Take it one day at a time, one step at a time. Cut out bad food habits then find healthier alternatives, then cut, then start with a morning workout, add an evening workout after a few weeks. I've always thought gradually eating healthier and gradually adding workouts to my schedule made it stick longer. Best of luck!

Hi Christopher! I am obviously not a body builder or nutritionist by any means but I can say, I lost 60 lbs in one year on MFP so I'd like to think maybe I could help here a bit. I personally focused on the eating right aspect first. Not so much losing weight, just more focusing on what I was consuming. My rule is thumb…

Thank you for responding everyone! I will go through the clothing I have tonight and try to get some pictures. I know I have around 5 pairs of nice work pants and plenty of jeans that no longer fit me. I will keep you all updated. In the mean time, if anyone has clothing, please post pictures if you can. :)

I have 20 plus tattoos and work in a very professional environment. I am the Executive Assistant at an IT company here in California. It's a small company so while primarily I am the "assistant" I also handle all the Receptionist duties and Office Manager duties. My tattoo's are NEVER visible at work and the owner's have…

I lost 30lbs and gained it back, plus some! So don't feel bad. It happens. Feel free to add me!

This is extremely inspiring. I am 5'2'' at 150lbs, with a GW of 125lbs. I hit 132lbs last year and felt amazing, but unfortunately gained all but 2lbs back. Congratulations!

I am the worst procrastinator. I haven't checked my mail since last year! ;)

I'm here if you need someone. :)

Good point. I'd agree this helped. I started seeing the best results almost immediately after I started strength training. That helped to keep me on track. I also set SUPER small goals for myself and try to hit them every month! :)

Somewhere down the line for me, I think it started to become habit (maybe 5-6 months in). With that being said, the first few months of eating as clean as possible and avoiding fast food, were the worst months of my life. But I've been at it for 3 years now (on and off) and my eating habits are better than I ever could…

Mmm.... those both look delicious!

No problem!

I like it in the.... wait, oh roller coasters! Well, front of course.

Don't lie.... ;)

I usually keep my dinners/lunches super basic because I'm just cooking for myself, but one meal I love to cook is Pork Picante over rice (I cook it with chicken though). Recipe for one: 1 chicken breast (skinless, boneless) or two pork chops 1 can stewed tomatoes (I usually get the Italian seasoned ones) 1 can green chiles…

I think it entirely depends on a lot of factors, where you're getting it, how many hours you need to sit for, if the artist has a heavy hand, etc. I have over a dozen tattoos and most didn't bother me. But I sat for 8 1/2 hours in one session on my thigh and couldn't walk for 2 days after, so obviously that slowed me down.…

I love making casseroles. You can get tons of veggies in there and they are delicious. I mix rice, beans, veggies and fresh herbs together and stuff bell peppers with it. Delicious!

This woman annoys the **** out of me. And I used to play violin. She's talented for sure. But she needs to calm down.....

Welcome! I am a clean (ish) eater. I still love a hot dog every once in awhile but for the most part I stick to veggies, fruits, nuts, beans, and grains. I've been on MFP for 2 years and love it! Hope you will too. Feel free to add me. :)

Good for you! :)

I've tried reaching out to people to help them, and correct their misunderstandings, but most people don't take a liking to that because they are convinced they are correct. So I don't reach out anymore. I've had people on FB (and here) see my success and they have messaged me asking for advice, which I give. I love…

I just buy two liters at the store. One goes to work and the other stays at home. But if you buy milk by the gallon, I've taken milk to work before using a big water bottle.

Welcome to add me. I'm a 2 year vet. Lost 25lbs last year. :)

I thought the same thing.... hmmmm

If you think you can do better, then you can.....

Haha, I got a crack out of this. Thanks for posting. I, like almost everyone else agree your friend is a complete moron. I constantly have people tell me what I'm doing isn't right, or good or will make me "bulk up". I then laugh, and throw some research in their face and walk the other way. Do your own research, never…

SW 152 CW 142 5'2'' GW is 125 (though I believe I can get below that eventually) My dress size varies. But my jeans are 9's and my work pants are 8's

That's funny because NROLFW (along with ALL of their other books) claim the exact opposite (also with research to back them). I'm done wasting my time here.

This is beyond cruel....
