Thanks for your help this is so foreign to me! Several years back I lost a lot of weight with low carb, so calorie counting has me totally confused! I guess I don't know how to determine if MFP sets my calories at the correct level or not. I do have hypothyroidism, but have not had issues losing in the past.

I think maybe I'm over thinking this whole calorie counting thing....I lost weight in the past on low carb so forgive me if this is new to me. Let me get this straight.......Lets say MFP has my calories set at 1400 and I burn 400 with exercise.....my actual calorie allowance for the day is 1800? Seems like a lot to me.

Thanks for the tips! I am going to look into some strength training DVD's as I have NO extra time to make it to the gym these days. I do however have a treadmill so I have been doing well with my cardio as of lately.

Thank you! I think one of my biggest downfalls is that when I mess up or gain a pound I kind of get the who gives a crap attitude I've already blew it, then I blow it some more. Loving this thread. I am 5'3" myself and can't wait to have before and after pictures again. (Sadly this is my second time on this journey, I lost 123 pounds and after two kids and and letting myself go I am back at it again).

Amazing and truly and inspiration! Being a mom of two one age 9 and the other 8 months I have been starting to feel like I would never have my body back, you have proven otherwise and given me the inspiration to keep going even after my 4 or 5 week hiatus.
