What a difference! Looking hot in your second pic!!!

I SO wish I could be that consistent, but I get food boredom SO quickly... My only semi-consistency is Greek Yogurt for breakfast several times a week...

You seem really sweet and friendly!

@Scott - I'm a sucker for guys with nice eyes, so yep!

Sure! :-)

My spouse-to-be is pretty unmotivated as well. He could stand to lose about 20 lbs easily, and the real shame of it all is that he drops weight SO EASILY when he puts effort into it (just like most men...right!? Ugh!). But I have figured out that he has to want it for himself, as I do. So I cannot let his lack of…

Rob - broad shoulders! love them on a guy!

You look amazing! Very inspirational! PS: I love both of those swimsuits in your pictures! Especially that black one!

solarpower- those abs! Duh!

Maintaining has been my downfall as well. I lost about 25 lbs in December - April (the same time that you did!!) and went on maintenance in May. And since then, I've steadily been creeping back up and I'm now 6lbs heavier than my goal! This is a lifetime journey!!

You success is amazing! How much did you ultimately lose to look like that?! You look great!
-
Thank you for posting this! I thought low-end BMI's just came easily to a lot of people on here. When I was at my ultimate low goal, I was exercising for an hour a day and netting well under 1200 daily, and it was just NOT maintainable at all. I was a bit obsessed with counting everything, and was even skipping meals at…

I am 5'3" and hit my ultimate adult low weight of 118...but I couldn't maintain it and now have inched back up to 126! Ugh! I don't know how to safely and healthily lose these last 10-15 lbs! I would LOVE to be about 110-115 but it seems impossible The weight just doesn't budge!
-
Dang girl, your story could be my story! I was consistently hovering around the mid 130's at 5'3" and unhappy. Then I went from floor nursing (which is a LOT of walking/lifting) to a 40 hr desk job. I put on about 14 lbs and topped out at 144. i was so unhappy and felt like crap. Then I got serious on MFP and dropped down…

What an amazing transformation! Any advice for the rest of us?

Just found this thread, and though it's a few months later I figured I'd pipe in. Perhaps there are other nurses out there who want MFP nurse friends! I'm 29 and have been a nurse for 8 years. I work full time days on a med-surg/oncology unit, and am going to school at night for my MSN in education. It's really hard to…

Someone stopped me at my work the other day to tell me that I look like Carly Rae Jepsen (the girl who sings Call Me Maybe). I was like.."Ummm...I don't think so, but thanks! :-P"

I agree with the person above me. Personally, I had great motivation for about 6 months...and I reached my goal! Then I lost motivation, gained about 6 lbs back, and have had zero motivation to lose since then. I know that what I'm missing is my motivation and desire. That's something that you can't buy or be given. It has…

Hi Kristen! I'm a bit older than you (29) and I'm a nurse as well. I love having MFP...the more friends the merrier, I say. This site has been SO helpful for me, and continues to be a source of motivation and support. :) Feel free to add me!!!

PetersonABT- An outdoorsy girl!

You must be a beer drinker...I'm more of a wine drinker! :)
-
You look very down to earth :)

I go back and forth. When I was 118-120, I was pretty happy with my body...However I would like to be around 115 so that I have a little wiggle room. I'm 5'3" by the way! Any shorties feel free to add me. I like to see what other people are eating to stay under their cals. For me to lose, I pretty much have to eat around…

I turn 30 in exactly 11 months from today! I would love to lose about 10 more lbs, but I would be happy with even 5 of those lbs gone. I lost about 20 lbs using this website over the course of 6 months, but then have gained a few of them back. I am gonna add some of you guys as friends. It would be awesome to enter my 30's…

I totally see Cuba Gooding Jr!

Oh my gosh, for real? LOL How did that end??! Were you forbidden to do it anymore?

Well, my preferred form of workout is dancing stuff, like Zumba or Cardio Kickboxing, which unfortunately involves a good bit of jumping around. The music really keeps me motivated. I do have a couple of yoga dvd's which I will occasionally do, but it doesn't torch calories nearly as well as a good cardio program. :)…

Haha! Bribes are a good idea! :-D

Haha, I hope they are the nice kind also! I've never had to bother with them before. Thanks for the advice, both of you! :) I guess I will give it a try and see how it goes! :-P

You look AWESOME! What a big difference!
