Bumping this, since the site was down for most of yesterday! Anyone???

I don't like olives by themself, but I do enjoy them on pizza or in a taco dip! :)
-
I have a cheat "meal"....one meal where I don't have to count my cals and can actually indulge! It hasn't screwed my progress up at all! :)

On the rare occasion that I've experienced anxiety attacks, they felt EXACTLY how you are saying you felt. For me, just closing my eyes and forcing myself to breathe slow and deep helped me a lot!

Doritos Cookies (of almost ANY kind) Fun-size Candy Bars!!!!

Oh, and I'll add some of my favorite go-to choices and their cals: McD's Hamburger 250 cals Burger King Hamburger 240 cals Burger King Value Size Onion Ring (smaller than a small...probably about 8 rings) 150 cals Taco Bell Beef Crunchy Taco 170 cals Taco Bell Beef Fresco Crunchy Taco 150 cals Chick Fil A Classic Chicken…

I find that I can still make my fast food fit in if I keep the portions tiny...like a kid's meal with a diet soda. A small burger and kids size fry comes in around 450 cals, so it doesn't ruin my day but I still get to taste the yumminess. :)

I'm 29 years old, and 5'2 3/4" (of course, for BMI purposes I round up to 5'3"). My goal weight has always been between 115-120 and about 20% BF. Right now I'm 125 and about 23% BF. I've been trying to work this last bit of weight off for a YEAR now...and everytime I make some progress, one bad meal or cheat day puts me…

I think she looks pretty ideal! Definitely not too thin. This girl has some muscle in all the right places. I would love to have that body, and I'm sure she works DARN HARD for it!

Hey there! I'm getting married April 28, 2014! I don't have much more to lose, maybe 5 or 10 lbs MAX, but I've been having a hard time even maintaining lately. I've gotta keep my big day in mind when I want to reach for candy and cookies. Feel free to add me! :)

My fave is chobani plain, with 1 tbsp nutella and 1 tbsp chocolate chips mixed in. It comes to about 270 calories and it tastes AMAZING!

Holy cow, your story is my story (minus the kids). Super thin child, ate ANYTHING (and EVERYTHING) I wanted...didn't exercise...and always was underweight. Then came college, and then marriage, and I ballooned up about 40 lbs. I never thought too much of it until one day I looked in the mirror and thought "WTF?!" LOL. I…

I am going to go with the first option, but I do believe that the person should have to show that they are making an effort to lose weight the healthy way before any drastic treatments are covered. Obesity IS a disease, but often it's a self-imposed disease. Our culture has made it easy for people to become obese, and stay…

I agree. Follow doctor's orders about your activity. I pushed the limits, and I luckily was fine, but I've learned that you can do serious damage to the healing process if you get too brave. If I could give you one piece of advice, and I know this is disgusting, but take a STOOL SOFTENER AND LAXATIVE. I was on a morphine…

Hey there! I had my spine fused with harrington rods at age 16. They fused me from T3 to L1, and used a bone graft from my hip. I have to say, it wasn't as bad as I feared. I came off of pain pills within a week after surgery, and went back to school about 2.5 weeks after surgery with just some minor limitations. My…

If I can feel my heart rate elevating, and my muscles getting tired, I count it. Yesterday I deep cleaned my bathrooms, and I was vigorously scrubbing tile and grout for an an hour....I worked up a decent sweat, and you can be DAMN SURE I counted those as calories burned. ;)

That's so devastating. :( As someone who is loosely trying to conceive as well, I can only imagine how I'd feel in the same situation. My thoughts are with you!

I haven't read this whole thread, but I'll give you my two cents anyway! When it comes to working out, do what you ENJOY and what you can MAINTAIN in the future. I'm never going to be a body builder. I'm also never going to be able to run a 25 minute 5K. But I am working on improving myself in both areas, because I enjoy…

WOW! Just, WOW... Such a difference. You look amazing in that dress. I'm getting married next April and have put off dress shopping for fear of gaining weight between now and then. Haha. But you are totally rocking that dress, and your confidence level looks 10x higher than before. You put in some HARD WORK, missy. Own…

Your story is wonderful and inspirational! You are really doing great! Keep it up, gal! :)

Oh, em, GEE! I am totally making these this weekend :)

I'm going to be 30 in just a few more months... but I'm pretty darn sure my 30's are going to be my best decade yet! :)

Well I'm in a similar boat...I lost a total of 24 lbs last year, and I've now gained back 8 of it...even despite going to the gym. So now I'm cutting back again and buckling down. I just try to remember the things that made me successful the first time, and re-employ them on this second go-round. We can do it!!!
-
I can see the most difference in the back pics! There is a very noticeable difference in all the pics, but ESPECIALLY in that one! You're doing great...keep at it! :)

A cup of fresh strawberries and blueberries! :)

We rock! I had no idea June was Scoliosis Awareness Month!

Hi Cassidi! I originally lost 24 lbs on here, but have gained back about 8 of them...which I have been successfully losing and then regaining over...and over...and over. It's a really hard lifestyle to maintain, but I'm going to continue to work at it! :) This is something we'll have to work at for the rest of our lives,…

Welcome to MFP! I've heard several people say you can't build muscle at a deficit, but I also see plenty of people that are very muscular and yet don't eat a ton of calories...so I'm not sure how true that is. If you can run 6 miles in an hour, you're probably in really decent shape already and don't have much to lose;…

You can certainly do this with the help of MFP. This place is awesome in several ways. I've lost and kept off 20 lbs for over a year. The community is one of my favorite parts of MFP, for sure. Feel free to add me as a friend!

Don't eat junk food, and you'll be fast on your way to becoming a thin *kitten*! ;) MFP friends are a GREAT tool to help you avoid eating crap. LOL
