I don't have a particular number in mind, but I'd like to be a size 4 in jeans and have definition in my arms, legs and abs! I'll get there soon enough. :)

I eat at 1700! I do about 2-3 hours of moderate intensity cardio a week, plus some strength training with free weights. Feel free to add me so that you can check out my diary. BTW, I'm 5'3" and at 126 lbs, slowly losing the last 5 lbs!

LOOSE, when it's supposed to be "LOSE!"

I'm a nurse who works 3 12 hour shifts per week, so I totally understand where you're coming from... I simply cannot workout after being on my feet for 12 hours, but I commend you for doing so!!!! I'm impressed! My advice? Have an evening snack at work around 5:30 or 6:00pm...maybe a protein bar, or a banana with peanut…

My thoughts exactly! You DID lose the 8 lbs...it's just that your scale didn't have you at the correct weight to begin with! You should be proud, you're doing great!
-
You are doing fabulous, and looking truly great! I love the face comparisons. Good for you!!! :)

Excellent results! Wow! Think of where you'll be after round 2! :-D

I do the SAME thing. Sometimes I even close my eyes and "sing along" by mouthing the words. It really helps me not focus on everyone else. LOL

Try a few brands. I can't stand Oikos or Fage, but I LOVE chobani! My newest thing is to take a container of plain chobani (16gms of protein and 100 cals!!!) and mix in 1 tbsp of nutella and 1 tbsp of mini chocolate chips. It's like dessert for breakfast with a protein kick. I also adore Chobani pineapple and Chobani…

My "ah-ha!" moment was Christmas of 2011. I knew I had been slowly picking up a pound or two here and there, but it wasn't until Christmas Day pictures were uploaded onto facebook that I realized how chubby I had gotten! I hopped on that scale and realized I was 6 lbs higher than I had EVER been before in my entire life.…

If you're doing as much strength training as you claim that you are, then you aren't eating enough. 1200 cals is not conducive to building muscle. You need to bump it up a bit. Do a search in the forums for "In Place of a Roadmap" and go from there!

I've been following this plan for a while, and it really does work. I love being able to eat a healthy amount and still lose weight and build muscle in a healthy manner! :) Thanks Dan! You rock!

Gorgeous! I'd kill for those abs!!!!!

Agree with both of these! Haha. Poor Carol. I was so bummed...that woman just just keeps getting the rug pulled out from under her! And yes...Rick is so far gone. I miss the Rick from Season 1 and 2! :(

Some people just don't lose well on 1200 calories a day. Plus, most people feel really exceptionally hungry with so little food. Especially if you're working out 2x a day, and several days a week. I would bump up my cals to 1400 if I were you, and then eat back half of your exercise cals as well. If you open your diary, we…

I've been on here for almost a year and a half, and have lost and maintained the loss. MFP is an amazing tool...I'm sure that with your level of commitment, you'll find success here! Feel free to add me if you'd like! :)

I eat 1640 and work out 4 times a week! I'm often over my cals, LOL. And I'm still maintaining right near my goal weight and even slowly losing the last few. Feel free to add me!

Harford Countyer right here! :) Heck yeah! Go Ravens!!!

No way! High school was not all that it's cracked up to be! Then again, I was a dork.

With that much exercise, you need to be NETTING 1200 calories....which means eating around 2000 cals a day. Otherwise your body will start holding on to every single calorie, every single gram of fat...because it knows that you're not eating enough to support your lifestyle! Perhaps dial back just a bit on the exercise and…

This episode always cracks me up!!! Mine came down right after the New Year!

I have been bugging my DF to hit the gym with me for months! He's just NOW starting to consider it! LOL He obviously loves you, since he married you (or so I'd assume! haha)....so there shouldn't be a need to be self conscious around him. If anything, I think you guys could motivate each other!

Just sent you a friend request!! :)

I'm getting married in April 2014, so I have a ways to go...so my MAIN focus is keeping off the weight I've already lost. If I lose 5-10 more lbs, I would be fine with that too. ;)

Hey guys! January didn't turn out quite as well as I planned, but I did lose 3 lbs and have kept it off more or less! Now it's time to start fresh in February! I met my fiance online! Turns out I walked past his workplace every week, and we went to rival schools in the same county, and we never met. I'm so grateful that the dating website hooked us up! :)

This! Quite honestly, I've never worked for a hospital that offered a gym, adequate break time, or even a fair sick-leave policy. It's only been in the past year that they've started having healthy food options every day for staff and visitors. It's just kind of crazy to think that they expect their nurses to be role…
