This! One pound a week is a very realistic and maintainable loss! You are doing great! :)
-
What a beautiful and poignant story. Thank you so much for sharing. Just goes to show that certain people pass through our lives for good reason! :)

Hey girl! I am by no means a weight lifter (yet....although someday I hope to be!)...but I have read up on the subject recently. I checked out your diary and it looks like you are eating 1200-1300 cals per day. And you are doing extensive amounts of cardio, burning most of those cals away by the end of the night! In order…

I only had about 25 to lose! Been maintaining for the most part since last May! Those last 10 lbs are a pain to get off (and keep off!).

I have a Mexican night out every week! Sometimes I get a margarita too. It has not ruined my effort to lose weight! I eat lighter that day and do an hour of hard cardio, and then I go and enjoy my favorite dinner ever! Who says you can't have a splurge a few times a month!? I just do my best to guesstimate my calls, and…

A couple of Blogilates youtube videos (today I did back and arm workout, and some ab work), followed by 30 minutes of running/walking on the treadmill!
-
How many servings does this yield?? It sounds delish!
-
LMAO! I thought I was the only one with the constant falling bra strap! HATE IT!

Oh, and current stats: 29 years old. 5'3" and 123 lbs! Trying hard to stay thin, because my doc told me that any extra weight will only cause me pain as I get older!

Hey all! I'm so excited to find this group, as scoliosis is so rare and yet so life changing! My journey started at 11 years old when they found my shoulder blades to be uneven during a school screening. I saw an orthopedist,; he diagnosed me with an S curve of about 18 degrees, and put me in a Boston Brace 23 hours a day…

Full time RN, part time grad student. LOL

RN here on a med-surg/oncology unit. Long hours, not a lot of down time. Many frustrating shifts. But I love what I do. Any nurses or law enforcement please feel free to friend me!

My first go-round on MFP, i ate them everyday. They taste pretty yummy and quell my chocolate craving. That being said, limit yourself to 1 per day, for the sake of your intestines! LOL Trust me on this one...that's a lesson you don't want to learn the hard way!

This website is fabulous. You picked a good one. Check out the success stories forum, you'll be amazed what people have accomplished. You can definitely do this. Also, start adding friends! When their accomplishments show up on your newsfeed, it makes you want to be committed as well. :)

I've always been told that if you're eating a low calorie diet, you probably aren't getting all the vitamins and minerals you need, so a multivitamin is a good idea That being said, I am a firm user of Flintstone Vitamins! Lol Better than nothing, right?

Yup! Today I had Mexican food. It was delish!

I have the same issue, girl. The only thing that works for me is to not start eating it in the first place. It's all or nothing, which is ridiculous, but that's the way my mind works. And if you can resist it one day, and you feel that proudness inside, it makes it easier to resist the next day and so on.... My weaknesses…

Hey everyone! I'm Amanda, and I've been active on MFP for a year, losing and maintaining a 20+ lbs loss! Any fellow Marylanders feel free to add me, as we can always use more friends on this journey. I am currently near Bel Air, MD!

I love this post!! It's so true. A healthy lifestyle is something that we should want to obtain, not only to look good but to FEEL good as well. And there is no magic way to get there...it's all through commitment and hard work that we achieve these goals! :)

I'm up 3lbs... I basically didn't exercise for a week and a half, and ate whatever the heck I wanted, so I definitely deserve that 3lb gain! LOL Back at it today...

My January 1st weigh in was 124.8! Eek! Excited to see what the next week weigh in will be! SW: 144 (December 2011) CW: 125 (as of today) GW: 120 To be honest, these are my LAST 5 lbs, and they come off SUPER slow. I would be happy to lose 3 of them in a month! I joined...then quit.... then rejoined a different location. I've always loved PF. Plenty of cardio machines, lots of strength machines, and quite a few free weights. Where else can you get that for $10 a month with no contract?

Still no October 12th twin for me? :(
