Eating lunch out every weekday for a year and a half. Hello, 40 pounds! Stick around for awhile, why don't you?

My family of 4 averages about $500 a month on groceries (and that's in Canada, where groceries cost almost twice as much as in the American border towns).
-
Egg white omelettes (and eggs in general), roasted cauliflower, chick peas, trail mix and fish. Although - I always liked these foods, I just never chose them over unhealthier options.
-
My doctor told me at my last check-up that too much calcium (over the recommended 100%) over a long period of time is harmful to one's heart.
-
My hair is chin length (maybe a bit shorter). I usually put it in two tiny pigtails for working out.

I live a non-violent life. I've never hit anyone in my life, so I'm probably not going to start with small children.

2002 fully-loaded Buick Regal. We've been driving it for 5 years and it still only has 80,000 kms on it.

I haven't been told I look like a celebrity but I do get asked all the time what ethnicity I am, or if I'm asian. People are pretty sure I'm not white but have no idea what I am instead. And apparently it's vital that they know.

I'm 5'5" and 208 pounds. I wear a size 16 dress (if I can fit my boobs in - 36DDs are hard to fit into dresses). If I go up a dress size I look shapeless so I usually stick to tops (size L) and bottoms (size 16).

My sons are 6 and almost 4. They are not allowed to play outside by themselves, not even in the backyard. There are a few older kids in our court (8, 9 and 12) and they all play great with my children, but they know that if they ask my kids to play I'll be tagging along. I bring my kindle or a magazine outside and keep…

Children who are severely obese are not properly nourished. Parents are responible for the health of their children. In Canada social services works from a 'family first' perspective, so obese children would be unlikely to be removed from the home. I'm a social worker and one family I worked with a few years ago had a 260…

Hmm. I'm probably more likely to irritate my co-workers than to be irritated by them. I'm very good at ignoring everyone and everything around me.

I'm not sure about where you live but a lot of communities have 'community housing' or 'housing first' options for people struggling to pay bills and keep a home. The community housing here will pay a portion of your rent for you or allow you to live in one of their subsidized housing units, depending on your needs. If…

What about people who judge people for judging people for judging people?

No, it hasn't happened to me. I only get to decide what my husband, my kids and myself eat and I have enough things to think about so I don't bother concerning myself with strangers' choices unless I'm getting paid to.

I can't believe the difference in your face. Great work!

I have major trouble falling asleep. I brush my teeth around 10:30 every night so that I don't want to eat anything after. Also, I used to think this was really stupid and would never work but: since January I've been playing meditative music when I go to bed. It clears my head so I can just go to sleep. Sometimes I have…

Great job - you're looking awesome!

I've only ever heard that frozen is just as good as fresh. I buy mostly fresh and when it starts to turn I cut it up and freeze it: strawberries, cabbage, bell peppers, peaches. Some veggies need to be blanched but it's super easy.

That is exactly what I meant - sometimes I get a little "oooh, new things!!" and want a whole bunch. E.l.f. is perfect for that! Yeah, Bobbi Brown is pricey but they're my favourite blushes, gel liners and brushes.

They are both awesome AND from the moon! Or Costa Rica; I can't quite remember.

Off topic: My moon crabs are named Bubbles and Sergeant Meowenstein.
