I am in a bad flare, but I am keeping my step counts up this week. I am adding more water and trying to keep moving. I have been "stuck" for a couple of months and I am getting discouraged. I know this is not going to stop me but the pain is keeping me from being productive

Curves was great when I was getting started after years of not moving much it got me up and going. I got some decent support and loved that it was an all girls thing. I am progressed it was not what I needed, so I moved on. But my time at Curves get's the credit for getting me started

So I talked to my Dr about this and he suggested two or three for me. I am starting to pick up activity to a new level and he wants to make sure I don't bring on a flare. Autoimmune sucks! On the bright side he said I am doing better than he expected so he is comfortable with me upping my activity level!

That is a very true statement. It took me a while to get on the bandwagon but going slow and making changes that stick are the way to go!

Knowing that the weight will come off and I will feel better and better as it does. There are times when I have a stall in my weight loss and that happens but best thing to do is remember why I am working so hard and keep it up! Every day is a new opportunity to become a healthier me

My moment was at the dr's office. He told me he wanted me to have gastric bypass. I was 314lbs and my Fibro was out of control. I am in my late 30's and it does not get any easier to take off weight as I get older. I just decided this was enough. I was tired of being tired and fat. My husband got a new job and they have a…

I have some beans soaking to make refired beans (I do a healthy version) to make toastadas. I made my own salsa and use a nice low fat cheese. :) I have a whole wheat pumpkin bread for dessert maybe with some cream cheese... I don't know yet. Not sure what I want for lunch..... maybe some soup.

When my Dr suggested bypass to help me I decided that I was not going to be that woman. I could do this on my own. So I set out to do just that.

I add it to a lot of my family meals. No one has noticed. It works well in coffee or juice as others have said. I have not tried it in water. I did not care for the chewables. I prefer to use the powder which can be added to sauces and meatloaf with no one the wiser :)

My husband and I are supportive of each other. He has seen this site help my weight loss so he is all for it. I have it open on my computer all the time. He has his stuff I have mine. But we do make time for each other just to talk about our day and such before bed. I think that is important

I know that I am an emotional eater that is the first step. Now when you get a crazy urge to eat stop and think about why.. I ask myself why a lot. I noticed that I am less likely to snack if I am drinking water. Also I don't keep "JUNK FOOD" in the house, so that if I do snack I only have healthy choices.
