That reminds me! For my first anniversary to my 2nd husband, my now ex SIL gave us a 4-pack of toilet paper, and a roll of paper towels for a gift. I was not amused! I told her I bought in bulk and she could take them home with her.

Worst gift ever was an electric push lawn mower from my ex who knew that I had been cutting grass before we got married on a riding mower. I wasn't pissed that it was a push mower. I was pissed it was electric. Who cuts grass with something so dangerous! Idiot.

How much fruit are we allowed a day? I am setting 2 as my limit. I may end up fixing some coleslaw if I get hungry. The entire problem is that I woke up congested this morning and have had to make myself eat today.

What I'm seeing is too long between meals, and not enough fiber. Oat bran helps, and you can add between 1.5 - 2 TBS to a serving of fat free, reduced sugar yogurt daily. Lower your carb intake too, and increase your protein. That should help you drop weight.

Up your protein and green vegetables (antioxidants & vitamins) and definitely try to get in all your recommended calories. I notice a huge change in energy if I don't meet mine, and while lower calories may help you lose weight fast at first, it isn't very healthy if you're exercising. Plus, so many of us who are…

I log everything. I especially log my water intake because I'm not used to drinking it and I get that "yay" factor in when I hit my 8 glasses. :laugh:

I use strawberry flavored and mix it with Lactaid 100% skim milk. Too hot for oatmeal, so I'll have to remember that, and bananas are on the grocery list. lol

I'm following the Dukan Diet, which is similar to the Atkins diet, but the fat content is lower. Most of my protein is in the form of dairy, and all of that is fat free or very low fat. Which protein shake mix did you get? I'm using Body Fortress Super Advanced Whey Protein and it has 52g of protein. I don't put egg whites in it. I use 2 scoops in a 12 oz. glass of Lactaid 100% fat free milk. I don't add anything else to it, because I don't want the extra calories or carbs.

First off, way to go on your weight loss! I did some searching for you. Exercise, and plenty of it are the only way to lose it without going in for a tummy tuck. Crunches, and the eliptical machine at the gym were recommended. Wishing you lots of luck! :smile:
