This is a great place to find the motivation and support that you need. Don't get discouraged if you don't see the strides you'd wish to be seeing, but instead relish all your victories no matter how small they may seem at the time. Good luck and welcome!

I just tried a veggie "sea" cake recipe today and the kids ate it up. It's make with grates zucchini, carrots and corn. I paired the cakes with lemon pesto for adults but my son ate his with some tartar sauce and my picky daughter ate it plain. If interested here it is. 2 1/2 cups grated zucchini 1 cup grated carrots 1 cup…

I realy enjoy this site, but have to admit that I did wander away for a bit and in that time I had a lot of stress and I gained three pounds. UGH. But I am back and looking to start my journey all over again. If you ever need anything, don't hesitate to reach out. Everyone is very friendly and willing to help. Today I got…

Good luck to you! I truly hope you get better.

You can do it! Just don't get discouraged if you take a few missteps and remember to always set realistic goals. This is a great place to get a lot of support.

I've also noticed that some size 10 and 8 look bigger than I do especially in the upper body. I am pear-shaped and an smaller on top. But there are girls here who wear 10s and 8s and all I can think to myself is "If that's what an 8 and 10 look like, I must look like a bimp." It's annoying sometimes. But I just dropped a…

I weigh about 173, am 5' 4" and wear a 12.

Man, do I want to do this. I told some of my coworkers and they were like, "umm... I don't know." BAH!!! I will be a one-woman wrecking machine! WOOHOOO!!!!

AWESOME!!!!!! I wish there was one near here!

I'm interested in seeing people's reviews as well.

Speaking from experience, if he doesn't get a handle on his anger it will only escalate. I'm sure you can look back to when you were first dating and see the progression of his anger. Maybe at first he wouldn't yell as much when awoken but now it seems like his fuse has gotten much shorter. You have to decide if you're…

I'm 5'4" and all I've been able to lose is one pound. ARGH! I work out at least five times a week and eat clean, but it's my health and meds that keep me bloated. But I'm going to keep on truckin' and won't give up!!

I want to start it over again. I lost my DVD and just found it. AWESOME! I will do it tonight. DAY 1, Y'ALL!!

I weigh in the 170s and I love doing weight training. My biggest obstacle is getting enough cardio into the mix. I can lift light weights for more than an hour and do crunches and ab work, but I can't seem to bring myself to go for a walk during lunch or a little jog in the morning. I have to do better. Adding light…

I am. I don't weigh in the 200s, but I still need to drop at least 30 lbs. I would be happy to. I log on every day so I can be here for you when you need me. I was looking for someone as well and I found plenty of kind works and comments here.

I love, love love, hummus! I could eat a whole container by myself!! I won't...but I could!
-
Thanks, FireMonkey. I totally forgot about the hump. Geeze as if gaining and thicker facial hair wasn't enough. I swear one day my husband's going to roll over and he's going to find Dom DeLouise lying next to him in bed if I keep this up. I'm going to keep on trucking and hope to get off of them soon, but not too…

That is amazing. It make me want to push myself harder. My little one is two and I initially lost most of the weight, but when he was 2 months old, I had a medical set back which pushed my weight up to 179 lbs! YIKES!!!! I'm currently at 173.8 lbs and feel great about the future. Keep it going!

For me it's my health. I am a pretty bad asthmatic who is on steriods. They weight from the setroids makes it difficult to breathe which leads to more steroids. ARGH!!!! I remember when I used to be more fit that I didn't need my meds as often. I also want to be a good role model for my kids. One of them had asthma,…

Welcome to you both. If y ou every need anything, this helpful community is always there. I am also fairly new and can say that I find myself thinking about all my MFP friends when tempted. It's great to have accountability! If you need anything, let me know!

That's so GREAT!!! I haven't had that moment yet, but hope to be there soon! Keep it up!

Thanks. My asthma is really bad. I ended up in the ER with two collapsed lungs. I went in on a Wednesday and woke up on Saturday. I really want to get off of them, but safely. This is why I am so stoked at my one pound lost. Usually no matter how much I eat cleanly and try to work out, I always gain. Advair works well, but…

I can't wait until I can get to use my P90X. I have to build up to it. I got about one week into the program when I had a pretty bad asthma attack. I'm getting back into shape and hope to be using it in the next two to three weeks. Welcome DefCon.

Congrats!!! I have noticed that, too recently!

My fave is frozen tropical fruit over orange and apple juice in a blender. I usually don't add yogurt but do add a Tbsp of vanilla protein powder.

Welcome to you!!

I know I drink at least three 20 oz bottles at work and about two more 20 oz at home. Since I do my workouts at home, I drink a lot. Right now I'm just trying to eat clean and I am getting back into a regular workout routine. I am already happy with my one week results of one pound lost. I know that's not a lot, but after…

I had the same experience with Red Robin's Whiskey River Grilled Chicken Wrap with Fruit. It was something like 38g of fat!!! Why? They use a lot of cheddar cheese on top of the BBQ-Ranch sauce.

I've been using it for less than a week and I already lost a pound. It really makes you accountable. Welcome and enjoy! :flowerforyou:
