I weigh in the morning, naked! (Bad visual, I know) And on those days when I do cheat I try to make sure we are doing something active like going for a hike or sledding or playing frisbee. I feel less guilty about it that way.

Delish chicken salad Add to to some baby spinach for a yummy salad that requires no dressing or make a samich. I love this and it's really easy and quick to make. My…

Way to go! One of the first steps is not making any excuses and just getting downt o business. You will find a lot of support here, that's for sure. Enjoy your journey, but remember there will be ups and downs. Just don't dwell on the bumps in the road as long as you keep on moving, you will be great!

HACHI-MACHI! Way to go! You look great!

My husband used to do the same thing. I don't think it's done on purpose, but when so much of our lives revolved around food it was a natural thing for him to offer me ice cream as we watched a movie. After a couple of months, he got the picture and has done it less and less. He now encourages me to work out when I am down…

I'm sorry you had to go through that, but I'm glad it happened at a time when you can still do something about it. Congrats on your success so far! There will be ups and there will be downs, but as long as you stay focused and don't dwell on the hiccups, you will be fine. You can do this!

That is great! Just make sure you get all your nutritional needs met and when and if you add any exercise you will see great results! Way to go!

Very good post. I agree. In one of my posts to someone I made the comment that people should not congratulate people just because they lost weight. While that is a major component of this site, the more important one is to get healthy. I never meant to attack or offend, but I think it may have come across that way. I was…

With kids I always have a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. Since out road trips usually end with an exercise, they can use that for energy. For us, I have a natural almond butter and honey I put on a whole wheat pita half. Cut fruits and veggies, lots of water and some jerky.

My kids. I want to be here for them. It's definitely about looking better, but with severe asthma, I know that losing more weight will let me breathe easier and in turn let me be with my children longer. Also, I love feeling strong!

I will usually buy the mini york peppermint patties and eat one then save the rest. That really helps me.

I start to feel it a full week before I get it. I've noticed in the last two weeks my flow has been a lot lighter. But no cramps. I do gain about 2-3 pounds and I get WAY hungry! Sucks but knowing what to expect helps me control it.

It's always good to do a little bit of cleaning. =0) BTW, I posted the picture!

I like to go swing dancing with my hubby. I do pin up photography. I love all things retro including cars. With the family I just really like getting out there and exposing them to knew things like hiking, sledding, museums and the such. I just like being out!

I'm about 5'3" or 4" and I weigh 175. I want to lose about 30 more. Just lost 10 and I am so happy!

It's still psychologically scary, but it's right! Thanks for the post.

The first thing I did is log in my food for a week without any changes to see exaclty what it is I am eating. It was an eye-opener for me. After that I was able to make the right changes to help me lose weight. The number one thing is to be honest with yourself. I used to think I would eat great but after logging in the…
My current goal for my goal weight is a photo-shoot (maybe pin-up themed!). I think it would be so fun, and a great way to see the progress I've made!
I do pin up shoots! They're so much fun and you feel AMAZING after! DO IT!

Even though I hope to reach my goal around July, I am looking forward to being Dr. Girlfriend for Halloween. I love her! I think she's so hot especially as Mrs. Dr. Girlfriend-Monarch! LOL! If I feel up to it. I will also get a two-piece bathing suit and not a tankini!

HACHI-MACHI THAT'S AMAZING! Way to go!

I actually increased my calories after about a month from 1200 to 1360 and that helped kickstart my weightloss again. I think my body was starting to store the fat because at 1200 and working out as hard as I was, it was hanging on to as much fat as it could. It can be scary, but I think you should ask your doctor or…

WAY TO GO!!! Congrats to you. You just have to keep putting one foot in front of the other and continue your journey.

Ooooo! I'm on Flickr, too! I'm TotalBettyPinUp! I love the 365 projects!

I had the same problem. Honestly, the way I kept the food out of my mouth was logging on here or taking 30 to 45 minutes in front of the TV to lift some weights and do some circuit training. After I finished a nice l ittle workout and saw how well I was doing, I didn't want to mess it up. Another thing that helped was my…

Turkey Chili!!! YUM!!! It's uber easy! Brown the turkey along with onions. Add some crushes stewed tomtoes, a can of kidney or pinto Toss in some chili fixings, chopped green bell peppers and serve it up topped with low fat sour cream and cheese! My kids love it.

That's such a wonderful sentiment and I want to say thanks, too!

That is so wonderful!!! I'm working my way up there. I have a 5K obstacle course in April I have to train for. Currently I can do 1.5 in a little under 20 mins. Not bad considering I'm an asthmatic. You have inspired me!

Make salsa. It's lowfat and tasty. Sprinkle some cheese on it, low fat of course, and you get your cheesiness. A snack I really like are zucchini boats. You take some lean ground turkey and cook it up Take a zucchini and cut it length-wise and then in half. Add some spaghetti sauce, the turkey a bit of cheese and pop them…
