  • Before making a judgement it would be good to know the context in which it was said and the words he used. That is very important to determine if someone is intentionally being unsupportive, or maybe is unintentionally being perceived that way. My husband for example is pretty matter of fact and honest about things. He’s…
  • It depends on your TDEE or the total number of calories your body burns all day. Your body is burning calories all the time just to function, you burn more when you are active and less when you are at rest, but you are always burning which is why 1200 calories is the lowest MFP will let you safely...now lets day your TDEE…
  • I always feel the same, especially with my yogurt, its always underweight.
  • Hmm your pot reads very differently then mine, but I am in the US so maybe that's why. My pot reads 110 calories for 150g serving and its 1 serving per container. When I weigh it, its always slightly under weight. I love Fage Total Pots! so good!
  • I have an oil spritzer, I can put any oil I want and then I spritz it on. I find I actually need to use much less oil then I ever thought before for cooking and salads. If you want to make a marinade or salad dressing try searching for low can recipes. Many use much less oil and add flavor with vinegar, and citrus juices,…
  • I track monthly, MFP does not have a setting for this, but I keep a spreadsheet with my daily totals, CI and CO. Then on the days I know may be outside of the norm, such as date nights, family gatherings, holidays birthdays I automatically start with assuming a certain overage. On a "free day" I an easily eat 4k calories,…
  • Instead of this, you might want to try an under desk foot pedal machine. A few of my employees have them and they seem to really like them. You stay seated in your chair and pedal under your desk. I personally have a stepper I stand on at my desk. I have an adjustable stand up desk at work and I hop on that a couple of…
  • Yes, you can, but it all comes down to calories in vs. calories out. You have to accurately log and track how many calories those drinks and treats are adding up. You can do that lots of ways. First make sure you are weighing and measuring your food and caloric drinks. Some techniques that work for many are to bank a few…
  • I absolutely bought new clothes along the way. It always felt so amazing to buy the next size down, and I always feel so much better in clothes that are flattering and fit correctly. It kept me motivated to keep going. I was not replacing my whole closet or anything, but a few new versitile pieces I could mix and match was…
  • I absolutely love mine!! I have had one for about 3 years now. I have found that my calories burned both active and resting seem to be pretty active, as when I compare it to my calories consumed I lose or gain the the expected rate. I also love the monthly challenges that come with it and it keeps me motivated to hit the…
  • OMG we could be the same person lol! I have to pee all the time, its comical at this point and all my friends and I joke about it. It does not need to matter how much or how little I drink, I still have to pee A LOT!! I find that if I fast in the morning and skip breakfast its even more then usual, if I eat something it's…
  • Hello, anytime you lose weight it’s never going to be all fat, it will always be a mix of fat, muscle, and fluid(water weight). You can minimize muscle loss by incorporating strength and resistance training, making sure you get adequate protein, and not eating too little. It’s very possible also that you have lost visceral…
  • I actually eat in the middle of the night regularly, 3-4 times a week. If I wake up hungry I have a really hard time falling back asleep and a little snack helps be get back to sleep faster. I always log it as my next day, if I already know I ate 200 calories I can adjust the rest of my meals to account for it that way. As…
  • One thing that has helped me is to give myself a calorie range to be in vs a hard stop. For me that means anywhere from 1700-2400 calories per day. My maintenance is about 2500, so I know if I stay in that range I am in a deficit, but also not eating too little. During the week I try to stay towards the lower end because…
  • My food diary is open, but I don’t consider anything people eat as a success or failure. I don’t think a fast food hamburger is a moment of weakness. I regularly eat pop tarts and Red Bull for breakfast, and I also love tons of fresh fruit and lean protein. I love carbs and fats. I am very much an IIFYM eater. I know when…
  • I do no log them, however my reason for not doing so is that it’s less then 100 calories a day for mine and if I find I am not losing I am not going go stop taking my vitamins and supplements, I would adjust my diet elsewhere in order Ron start losing again.
  • This is part of the journey we all are on, the good thing is that you have not allowed it to make you want to give up. I think it’s important to recognize that not everyday will be perfect, but we are playing the long game here, if overall you continue to eat at a deficit you will reach your goals. Assuming your TDEE is…
  • Feel free to add me

  • I don't know that its a trigger necessarily, but it probably makes me less inhibited. When I drink alcohol I always have sweet cravings and I usually give in to them. I don't worry about it too much because I don't drink regularly, and its usually for some sort of occasion so I was probably already planning on being over…
  • If it helps at all, I do lean cuisine pretty regularly, I always weight it, and it always weighs less then the packaging states...always!...On average its about 10% less. If I ever don't have my scale I just log 1 package and know that I am most likely overestimating my calories by a bit.
  • I do slimfast for my lunch on a regular basis, i like the taste as far as a protein powder goes and right now I’m doing a moderate low carb diet and it fits my macros nicely when mixed with almond milk. I also like the new Keto peanut butter cups. I eat the products because I like them. I lose weight when I consume fewer…

  • All of the pancakes I can eat in one meal is my serving lol...sorry I seriously love pancakes. I worked at IHOP as a teenager and pretty much lived off of banana nut or blueberry pancakes and sausage...otherwise what the other posters already said...I hope you enjoyed your pancakes!!
  • I too am so sorry for your experience. Personally I absolutely love my Mirena. I’ve had it for almost 10 years and am getting ready for the third. Everyone is different, so it’s important to find what works for you. I would never recommend another women not get this type of BC. That is a decision that should be made after…
  • Yes that is correct, you can also look at your total calories burned for the day, to do that you swipe under the move section of your activity app
  • Honestly for me, it’s the stupid little rings on my Apple Watch, the perfectionist in me can’t stand to not close them. I intentionally set my active calorie goal to He high enough that I have to at least put in a moderate workout to hit it, so if I don’t go, I don’t close my rings, and I HATE not closing my rings lol.
  • I like coconut coffee cream, it’s very similar to half and half consistency, thickness and texture. So Delicious has a good one.
  • Is that the only thing you changed in your diet? Are you working out more? If you are working out more, youbcould be sweating more causing the breakouts. Drastic diet changes can bring them on too, but if it’s just the chips that seems an unlikely culprit. Are you getting enough sodium overall in your diet? Many people…
  • Yes 2-3 eggs is a more reasonable serving size, but it really comes down to your overall calorie intake. If you have to go longer for lunch there is nothing wrong with eating a larger breakfast, and cutting back a bit for lunch and dinner. Eat in a way that allows you to eat in an overall deficit but also keeps you…
  • You can do some challenges that don’t require weight loss, I am currently doing a step challenge. If I increase my steps by 25% over a 60 day window I win. If I don’t I lose my bet. I am also doing a weight loss bet. Mine is pretty reasonable 20lbs by October 3. The pot is not a big as some, but I also want to make sure I…
