Sugar in soda is bad, but i would rather have that than artificial sweeteners, so i just go for the regular sodas especially since i dont hit soda hard anyways. Usually water or almond milk, but soda is a nice treat every once in a while.

Kim has a nice body but i feel like it would be unrealistic for me. I am short though, but i dont have much a butt or chest LOL America Ferrera in the last episodes of Ugly Betty would be nice. She is built very similar (again i lack the buttage  ) but otherwise im a curvy girl and short (5'1"), so that would be…

Just wanted to update. I have been on a plateau for the past 10 weeks, on MFP. I joined WW on Friday. I am now down 1lb. I dont know if its because of WW or bc my body just finally got the memo, but figured i would update. Could be mfp. could be WW. could be my body finally cooperating...
-
If WW works for me, and if i get to my goal weight with it, then i am going to keep track of everything on here and not keep the WW account. I dont see the point in paying WW for maintenance.

Im the opposite of many MFP members here. I have been on MFP for over a year. Granted I was pregnant for part of that year, Im currently at the same weight I was last year at this time, despite eating very healthy and exercising 5x per week. I havn't gotten the scale to budge for 10 weeks. PPL told me i needed to increase…

I had a couple small scholarships, full federal funding, university grants, and 2 part time jobs. My husband was in the Honors Program, so a lot of his tuition was covered and he had 2 part time jobs as well. the scholarships/grants did not cover our housing or our books-books were a ton in a science field!...so i will…

Yeah, and i'll probably have this debt till the day i die :grumble: Penn State is a great university...but not worth that price! LOL and you want to know the crazy thing?? I had FULL federal/goverment funding! Thats how expensive that school is! ..should i have learned it was the most expensive public college in the us…
-
Dont go to college hoping you will figure out what you want to do with the rest of your life...too expensive for that and Penn State will cost you $900 per month in student loan debt for the next 25 years-not worth if you do what you've always wanted...be a SAHM because mothering does not require a bachelors degree. oh and…

Ive only just switched calories this last weekend So that would have been at 7 weeks. and now its been almost 8. And i switched workouts at the end of 6 weeks.
-
thanks...i thought it was only 6 weeks, but looking at my logs its actually been 8 weeks...i have joined the mentioned group. I have changed calories, eating habits, and switched workouts...its not working. I figured it would be a challenge, but i didn't think it would be THIS hard, especially since i am SO far from any…

If you have an adrenal issue such as a tumor or cyst on the adrenal, Cushings (overproduction of cortisol), or on steroids (like predinsone or other asthma medications), that all can cause too much cortisol. That is NOT controlable unless you get treatment/stop steroid use. I would think you really cant control cortisol,…

I am going to be getting tested for Cushings and for PCOS very soon. Both are highly suspected due to my medical (and current) health history...how did you get diagnosed? What types of labs did they do? And does it take a long time to find out?

I found this of particular interest: http://dvirtualdoctor.hubpages.com/hub/Pituitary-disorders-Diabetes-Insipidus-and-Cushings-Syndrome

Im getting tested for Cushings as well. Ive always been overweight, my entire life. No matter how well i ate and no matter how hard (or often) i exercised, i couldn't lose the weight. I have never been a normal weight. I have a buffalo hump and it is so painful. It makes me very irritable when its aching badly. Ive been…
