http://www.healthstatus.com/calculate/cbc It seemed less risky (since it was less calorie loss) than what MFP said. Acording to that i lost about 405 calories in 65 minutes of mowing. It is an option on MFP, but it thought i burned more like 500 calories...wasn't sure which was right, so i took the lower risk (i eat my…

I can def see a difference in your face and stomach, which looks flatter too! I think your arm is a little smaller also. you rock. so proud of you!

What formula determines this based on frame? What sites have you found reliable? Would love to inquire. And thank you <3

So, are you saying i should eat 2088 and then exercise to lose 384. Thus my total food i would consume in a day should be 2088 (even if i exercise). I just want to make sure i understand this. You really sound knowledgeable :D

oh and just wanted to mention, when you get your blood work done, try your best to get it tested as close to waking up as possible. As the day goes on, thyroid function varies. Thyroid as soon as you get up is the best reading you can get.

3.0 is good...but if you are still having symptoms, then it still may not be low enough. Sometimes doctors only take into consideration the numbers when really it shouldn't be the only thing they consider. Goat's Rue may be helpful...but whatever you do, stay away from fenugreek.
-
I know Goats Rue is good for lowering TSH levels. Do you have any idea of what your numbers are? (I have thyroid issues as well). A lot of old school doctors think that TSH of 0.5-5.0 is fine, but this is simply not true!!! It should be 0.5-3.0 If its above 3.0 then it is hypo. If its below 0.5 then its hyper. I would not…

This is interesting, because this is what i thought before getting on MFP. this is what many sources say...but then i get on here and read a bunch of postings and there are SOOO many people that talk about getting to goal weight and to make sure you eat back burned calories. Theyve said ppl who plateau need to do this (eat…

Dittoing the Vit C and the iron foods. Also try to avoid anything with calcium around the time you eat iron foods (or take iron supplements). Calcium decrease iron absorption. Read up on foods that have calcium. you would be surprised what does! For instance, who would have ever thought brocolli was high in iron?! It is.…

The less processed food, the better. Initially when i joined MFP i was only about losing weight, but since i have learned a bit about food and a healthy body, i have realized its not just about calorie counting. When you eat better, you feel better! It's okay to have a fun piece of food here and there, and i agree with a…

I try to eat as clean as possible, though i have to admit i will have a pizza and a coke for dinner, occasionally...but everything in moderation ;) I recommend buying fresh produce, if possible. I prefer organic if its available. It's a little more expensive, but much healthier. I think it's worth the extra change.…
