I don't worry about unsupportive people. I take responsibility for what I choose to eat. It's my goal. It's my decision to cave or to stay strong.

Do all 3 sets w/ a bit of rest between them. Then move to the next exercise UNLESS the exercises are grouped together as a 'superset'. In a superset you do one set of an exercise then move to the next exercise with very little rest in between. It may have been better to ask on the LiveFit section of BB.com :)

I've only used water to mix muscle milk. It's not bad at all.

Double whataburger w/ bacon and jalapenos.

+1 People have the body they want !!

Nah. Not too heavy at all. Now let's do the usual conflicting feedback ... 1. Go as hard as you can. 2. listen to your body. 3. start slowly. it's a shock to the system. 4. listen to your body. remember you are allowed to take a few days off if your knees/shins are telling you to take a break. most importantly when guys…

I leave about 1K in case I decide on a Cheeseburger.

IMO peps going on Adkins do two things.... 1. eat at a deficit 2. finally avoid processed carbs. I think it's really not eating food that comes out of a box that makes the difference.

Grab a workout from Bodybuilding.com and some dumbbells/barbells.

Insanity is perfectly workable for bigger peps. Just do your best. Realize that you'll be doing pushups on your knees and subbing squats for jumps. If you're horribly unconditioned you have two choices. 1. Take longer rests which is effectively skipping part of the workout. 2. Budget extra time to complete the workout and…

I did not log cals burned my first round. I ate around slightly below my sedentary maintenance of 2100. Dropped 20+ lbs. Don't stress too much about cals burned, just push play and go harder than you think you can.

I wouldn't say that it's cheating, but .... It's just a medical replacement for willpower and discipline IMO.

I'd go with straight weights with running for cardio. Take a look at this FREE program and just pickup some weights or join a gym. http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/jamie-eason-livefit-trainer.html Keep in mind that you will NOT bulk up much at all while eating at a deficit. Nothing wrong with P90X or Insanity. I've done…

1 cup of rolled oats mixed w/ 1 cup hot water. Drop in a scoop of whey and you have my daily breakfast.
-
I'd just skip it and eat normally.
-
Just guessing ---. somewhere between 500-600 cals in a meatball 6" w/ extra cheese. The meatball is one of Subways more calorie dense subs.
-
1/2 cup of oatmeal (from the tube _not_ the package) and a scoop of whey.

only one word --> What-A-Burger !!!!

I started a similar routine today! I plan to go heavy on the first workout and light medium on the second workout of the week. There's nothing wrong w/ hitting it twice a week.

Complaining about Calisthenics in school P.E. <-- Really ? granted it's a challenging interval workout, but it's only Calisthenics with a fancy name. Before the flames start I've done 3 rounds myself and still use a random vid from time to time. [Edit] to add that my 9 yo just started the Mens Fitness spartan workout <--…

I'm sure this info segment was quickly followed by someone hawking a pill that would neutralize any bad carbs you happen eat as well.

Cool. Maybe I've done something right for the last 1.5+ years :)

Keep trying. Everyone has to start somewhere. You'll be amazed where you are in six months if you don't give up!!

I think I fell asleep... I'm not worried about the endless debate of the definition of 'paleo'. Really. A processed card does not equal a natural carb. <-- There I'm summed up paleo for you. Avoid the crap the food companies try to sell you and buy things likes vegetables. It's not that hard.

Oh come on. You and I both know the ONLY way to lose weight IS MY WAY :-) The world of fitness has more dogma than an organized religion. If people knew it was about trying to avoid too much processed food, who would buy the diet books?
