I have been using the same scale that I started with in May, and I weigh on the same day each week at the same time. Scales are so unpredicitable and jumping on different ones everytime you weigh will cause you to have a different reading each time. I would say by no means give up! 1. Woke up thie morning and went to church with my family. 2. Hubby who is also on MFP weighed in today and lost 4 pounds from last week. 3. Talked to our daughter (who is away at college) on the phone for hours.

I log water as water. I click on the water glass every time I have one. I also log in the other drinks that I may have during the day. Coffee in the mornings and if by chance I have juice with one of my meals that's where I log it.

Learning how to eat right is not easy. We know all too well how to eat the wrong things. Do some research and try to find foods that you like, cut down on the quanity of your food intake. Relax, release, relate. But most importantly....HANG IN THERE!

Take it ONE pound at a time. You didn't surpass your weight overnight so don't get disappointed when you don't wake up skinny the next morning. Hello, I would agree with most that you need to get more protein in your diet. I know one thing that also works for me is I take vitamins everyday and make sure I have either a protein shake or bar. Hope this helps.

I never really understood that myself. I love bananas so what I do is only eat one once a week. Unless I have a large amount of left over calories.
