I do worry about sodium because heart disease is in my family. I don't tend to go over. I avoid too much frozen food, prepackaged food, and cheeses. I tend to go over on sugar all the time though, am working on it because I know it is not good for me.

Do both! I do both and I love it. My knees can't take too many days in a row or one or the other.

I agree, I do not log it as circuit training because the cardio is only in the warm-up. I log it under cardio as strength traning.

If there is a DSV or Shoe Pavillion near you that is where I get my Saucony running shoes that I love. Your brand will depend on your foot and running style though, but prices are always good at those stores.

I ran cross country and track in high school, got away from it in college and a few years after college. Started again a few years ago and I love it. I feel better after a run than any other time. I tried it once and liked it but felt I needed to take a regular yoga class to actually understand the moves a bit better. I will go back to it after maybe a month of yoga classes I think.

Jillian Michael's No More Trouble Zones dvd! You just need weigths, start with 3lb and 5lbs and work your way up :) I also love her 30 day shred, combines strength and cardio :)

Jillian Michael's dvd's (only $10 at Target). I use No More Trouble Zones for strength. I also think 30 Day Shred and Ripped in 30 are good for strength although they also include cardio.

I love the taste, however 1. they are high in sugar (yes natural sugar). If you juiced at home you would probably put less apple and other sugary juices. 2. some people say the full benefit of the juice comes from drinking it right away, and that even an hour later the impact is not the same I only drink them occasionaly…

I would say regular low-sodium v8 is ok. Fusion is bad in my opinion due to the sugar, even though it is natural. I avoid fruit juices.
