  • I will be interested to see the response you get on this because I fear the same problem. I do know from my research that in order to maintain your muscle you must train (obviously) and consume 90% of your weight in protein a day to maintain your strength. Example. I am 188 so I try and take in no less than 150 grams of…
  • Keep coming to the site for support. I drink water and come and read forums. It works and restores the ambition.
  • Ok I spend a lot of time outside in the sun...the reality is yes those conditions make a body hungry. So in this case my suggestion is something that is filling. For me I love fruit but it never cures my hunger. So I agree with more of a protien diet while you are there. Tuna sandwhich on Nature's Own whole grain bread (50…

The optimal time to lift weights is before you go to bed because your body repairs the muscle damage while you rest (this process burns calories while you sleep and is what creates "larger muscles). Cardio is best being the first thing you do in your…
  • I would have the same trouble. I can suggest what I do when I know I am going to be around food I love. 1) Eat before you go (even if you eat a salad there) 2) drink lots of water. It is not a fool proof resolution but the water cuts that salivating tongue looking at pizza. I promise! Oh and 3) Pray!
  • Be careful about the mercuray in tuna. I ate it all the time until I found out about the mercury risk with eating to much. It is a real threat!
  • It may not burn as many calories as cardio at the point of the actual exercise....but weight training is much better at keeping your metab running faster throughout the day. Your body is constantly repairing the muscle damage you create when you lift weights. Google it. All research shows that yes cardio burns more…
