I am just going to quote you by saying "Rudeness isn't going to get you far in life."

Oatmeal is one of the most filling foods I have ever eaten. It is only 150 calories per serving and I load mine with 5 servings (20g:75 calories) of brown sugar so it tastes like a sweet treat. (225 calories total)

Aim for exercises that work out large muscles and/or multiple muscles. You could probably do some type of bent over row with the free weights that would work your back and biceps all at once.

Isn't it a good thing that he had no idea you were anywhere near a 20? I am confused about what is humiliating about any of this.

Urban Decay - Super curl mascara is my new favorite. It is also super easy to apply. (also cruelty free) For lips, for longer lasting, I like to combine a matte lipstick and gloss. The mattes always last longer and a quick swipe of a similar color gloss really helps to make the lips look fuller. (Kat von D has good mattes…

The trainer at my gym recommended is 5 minutes cardio warm up, 30 minutes strength, 20 minutes cardio, 5 minutes cardio cool down.

“I have always believed that I am only here to impress myself and better myself” I am very impressed with myself when I have make up on and squatting a new PR. Should I be less impressed when wearing make-up? “He always tells me to put LESS makeup on. And those nights that I do I actually get hit on MORE, even with him…

Performing core exercise every day might help you burn calories, but you probably won't build more muscle than if you train every other day, and you might experience repetitive stress injuries. Consider spacing out your ab exercises, or performing different exercises each workout if you will be exercising every day. For…

Aren't days off important for allowing muscles to recover?

From my calculations, because your diary isn’t open, your three main meals are about 900 calories. So for snacks, I recommend an apple and one serving of peanut butter (100c for apple and 200c for peanut butter – I cut the apple before work and eat with a fork at my desk), two servings of nuts (320 c), two fiber bars (280…

I remember taking the CPA exam, all my friends told me not to worry and that I would pass it. While the words were nice, none of my friends knew anything about accounting or the exam. I would have felt much better hearing this from one of my college professors or classmates who knew something about the exam. So for me,…

Well, first of all, make sure your calories are not being overestimated. Your profile says you have 90lbs to lose, so you could be burning that much, but I would still recommend getting a HRM to track cardio work (You can get a Polar FT4 for $60-70). If you are not already, I would recommend strength training. It burns…

What exercise are you doing that is burning 1000 calories?

Couldn't have said it better :-)

It was probably mostly water weight. You are almost in Onederland :-)

It is dry pasta :-)

Find some seasonings you like and bake chicken or fish for about 30 minutes and top with seasoning. Throw some veggies in a nonstick pan with a small amount of sauce you like (I am really into bbq sauce right now) for 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally. Ta da! Dinner is served.

Encouragement has its place, especially at this website. However, in order to truly help the OP, more information is needed. While encouraging words are nice and all, actual input on diet and exercise routines are more helpful in the long run. Was robin a little harsh? Yes, but I don't think they were wrong.

You sound a little angry kmcintyre57. You were very critical to someone who only posted the truth. You ideas on what is needed for you and its ok to let others know what you need but to say something harsh to someone about what they post will stop posts that actually help from them. If you dont like someone elses posts you…

Personally, the elliptical lies to me about calories burned. It greatly overestimates compared to the treadmill, which is part of the reason I had such a hard time losing weight while doing elliptical only. I am still pretty pissed off about that. Now I have a HRM and am in love with how much I can customize the treadmill…

From what I understand, squating on an upsided down bosu ball is more for working stabilizing muscles and core (quads more secondary). I squat over 100 lbs, but on the upside down bosu ball, I am just holding a 10 lb weight and trying not to fall on my *kitten*.
-
The treadmill does not take your heart rate into consideration when calculating calories burned. My HRM and treadmill at the gym are usually pretty similar.

I think we could all use a sunshine and rainbow enema! 1) One week is not a plateau 2) Make your diary open

On a serious note, I think that yoga is a wonderful exercise. I am not as sure about hot yoga, but if you are drinking water, I don't see the harm in it. I just want to make sure people are not wildly overestimating calorie burns. Once again, HRMs are not accurate for yoga because yoga is not considered a cardio work out.
