Drinking lots of water reduces water retention. It does not increase it. The best cure for bloating is drinking lots of water and watching sodium intake. Though in all honesty, there is nothing really bad about water retention, so I wouldn't worry about it.

Signed.... I will also point out that many fighting dogs have the same story. (I have two rescue pit bulls) They spend their whole lives making a profit for their owners and when they are no longer any use, they are just disposed of :-(

I am so happy you said this. It was exactly what I was thinking, but I was too lazy to type it out. Sometimes I log cleaning, but I usually only add it for about 1/4 to 1/2 the amount of time I actually did it, and even then it is only intense work.

I love my scale - It is my best source of motivation. I am that person who weighs everyday and multiple times per day. If the variations bother you, weigh every morning and record each weight in excel and plot it in a line graph. This way you can make sure that the overall trend is that your weight is decreasing.

For ten bucks a month, you cant beat it. The service and atmosphere vary based on location, but mine has free weights up to 75lb dumbbells, and I have never had to wait for a weight bench. So, in my opinion there is nothing wrong with them :-)
