Small thing but the "http://www.bodyrecomposition.com/research-review/hormonal-responses-to-a-fast-food-meal-compared-with-nutritionally-comparable-meals-of-different-composition-research-review.html" link is broken.

Any advice for a previously active person to gradually get back into activity after an idle 6 months due to Chronic Fatigue Syndrome? I can feel that I'm seriously deconditioned and instead of my 3-4 workouts per week at the moment I'm struggling to walk 2.1 miles or so without being wiped out for a couple of days…

MFP works on the basis that you will eat back your exercise calories which is why the calorie goal is lower. Scoobys calculator is based on TDEE which has your exercise already taken into account (i.e. you DON'T eat back your exercise calories). Hope that helps explain why there is a difference.

I would recommend speaking with your doctor or nutritionist - did they not give you a long term plan to follow? You don't want to undo all the work that you have done - especially as you will be able to eat less at a time after the surgery.

If you're moving down in inches then that's the main goal, you might stall a little on the scales while your body is adjusting but to be honest torching the excess BF >> scales in my opinion :) Keep it up!

I didn't think he was that hot. But I very much enjoyed that gif :)

Yeah it's a shame that I screwed my knee over with 2 weeks to go, bit bummed as I'll pretty much have to start from scratch as not been able to exercise much. However I did manage to achieve 2lb and 18 inches in the 6.5 weeks I did insanity. Fingers crossed for when I start again after new year!

It'll be kicks, unless they did 180 kicks in a minute (3 times a second is ridiculous :) )

After the first week of insanity and being in immense pain, I switched to barefoot and found it much easier (on carpet ofc) I wasn't having the sliding feet, I felt much more in control and got more out of my workout. Give it a try, I suggest you try for at least a week to get used to it - I found that I worked my calves a…

I'm first week of month 2. First 2 weeks I actually went up due to muscles holding on to water to repair themselves. After I stopped feeling sore in week 3 onwards the next 2 weeks I noticed an overall 2lb loss from starting weight and then I really dropped some inches. Fit test results went way up too. So keep at it,…

My 18lb has taken me about 11 months so far, I seem to lose 3-4lb then stay the same for 3 months, but on the plus side none of it has gone back on so while it may take me longer than I originally anticipated to lose it all, I am happy that it is at least sustainable :)

I use shock absorber, but I tend to find they measure a bit big, so usually go down a band size. (I am 38F wearing 36E) Having said that once I'm in, I don't move. Used Triumph before but when I went up a few sizes I needed something with a bit more coverage! My tum probably moves more when I exercise than the boobs!

Ok checking in again, yesterday was fit test and first work out of month 2. Very tired today, Shaun T wasn't kidding at the start of the workout when he said he was going to kick my *kitten*! How is everyone getting on?

Hello there, First round of insanity. Recovery week day 5 today. Slightly worried about month 2! 2lb down and 15 inches lost so far, hoping for a bit more fat loss in month 2 :)
-
There is definitely a difference in the stomach area. From what I can see the stomach has tightened in and the bust looks to have lifted. Great results for first month :)

Month 2 for me starts on Monday and I'm not going to lie, I'm terrified!

Bumping for later, several insanity threads now :)

The first time I did that combo it killed me. the second and third time went way better. Hang in there buddy! :) With the c sit stuff (evil Shaun T) I could only do 2 reps( one each side) and then had to stop the first time, then next time did 4 rest for one set (of each side) and then come straight back. The third time…
