What did you find in the multiple previous threads when you did the easy search?

Milk Duds

They are totally fake.

There is a lot of good advice in this thread so far. I've been doing P90X, P90X2, Insanity and even some TurboFire for the past 18 months or so. The first week of P90X is the toughest. You'll be sore on Tuesday following the tough Chest and Back workout. You then get Plyometrics which is a big kick in the gut to your self…

I love my FT7. That is a great price.

Are you quitting because your tired? Out of wind? Muscles sore? Just don't feel like doing it? I get winded on some moves and my legs absolutely kill me in the Level I Drills/-Ski Abs-In and Out section long before I get winded. Once you know what is causing you to quit, you can find a plan of action.

I really don't mind seeing the fit people in the Beachbody workouts. It gives me something to shoot for. In P90X, I didn't like not being able to keep up with the one legged guy in Plyo.It was a little insulting actually, But eventually I got there. Now I'm pretty much keeping up with Leapy Boy in the back. With Insanity,…

Dymatize Elite is a favorite of mine. It is a good blend of proteins, pretty low in calories and mixes and tastes very good.
-
Nuts, beans, whole grains are all pretty calorie dense while being good for you.

Just do the best you can at Plyo. You won't be able to keep up with the video. No big deal. Do 15 seconds of the 30 second moves and 30 seconds of the 60 second ones. That way you can do the whole workout. Watch Pam int eh video for modified, lower impact moves. Don't get upset with the guy with the prothstetic leg is…

We are hitting one for the first time too. I have no idea what to expect.

Don't fear the carb. The carb is not out to hurt you. Fruit is fine and full of other good stuff too like fiber. Keep with your ratios and your macro-nutrient goals and you will be fine. Don't fall into the trap of Carbophobia.

That's the best way to fight the temptation. I am terrible at portion control for ice cream, crackers, pretzels, etc. If I buy it, I eat it. Therefore I do not buy it if I don't have to. I also have a personal moral code of not buying ice cream that is in the silly 1.75 and 1.5 qt packages. It should be a half gallon!…

Why not take a minute and make it a custom food for you? Enter what is on the packet/bag and you will now it is right. It will be quicker than searching though all the entries.

I do know of people that take a 200 mg caffeine pill and a Bronkaid (ephedrine) as an energy source an appetite suppressant. I do not know where the baby aspirin comes into play. Here is a link to more information on the combo. http://mtdman.tripod.com/misc/weights/eca.htm

I like the idea of the small ziploc plastic containers. Make up six or so at a time. They don't take up much room and are easy to clean and refill without the waste of a plastic bag.

P90X2 is very core heavy. Lots of moves requiring balance and use of the core. There is less weight lifting that the original.

I've lost 50 lbs over the past year doing at home workouts. I've gone through P90X, TurboFire, P90X2 and am now doing Insanity. Add in bike rides and you can get a very good workout at home. They key is still the diet though.
-
If you want strong and fit, I'd lean towards P90X instead of insanity. Insanity is very cardio-centric and will burn some calories. You do some body weight workouts in the program, but I don't see it as a strengthening program. Sure, you need a bit more equipment for P90X including a few bands (dumbbells are better IMHO)…

It's more of a lunch recipe, but I like t slice it up into strips, toss with cajun seasoning and saute in a non-stick skillet. When cooked, I mix in some wing sauce. I put the pieces in a low carb wrap with shredded lettuce and thinly sliced onion. A tablespoon of light bleu cheese tops it off. Wrap it up and you have a…

Using the stock settings, the protein goal is quite low. You will be fine.

I get it ground fresh from my gorcery store. That way I know exactly what is in it. I average about a tablespoon a day if I had to guess.

I take the question to mean when he drops below his range. I don't think that is an option at all.

P90X is a great program. In the past year, I've lost almost 50 lbs with it, P90X2 and even some help from TurboFire. It is a tough program is you are out of shape. But it is easily modified for different fitness levels. It is three days of resistance training (75 minutes) two days of cardio (60 minutes) and one day of yoga…
-
As long as you did your resistance training first, I don't see a problem. You might not want to run every day and you will be tired and sore. You'll also need to up your calories to cover the additional calorie burn. The problem with doing two workouts per day is that one or both of them tend to suffer if you don't have…

If you are on paved or hard packed paths (stonedust, etc.), then I like the idea of a hybrid bike. Go to a bike store and see what they have to offer. It will cost more than a cheap one from a big box store, but you will be getting something better. Thinner tires offer lower rolling resistance making your raides faster…

Stop eating the almonds and see what happens. Your body just might react to them differently.
-
The protein allotment seems a bit low, so depending on what you eat, I can see you easily going over that number. It's nothing worth worrying about. It comes down to your food choices. Having more grains will boost that carb number in comparison to the others. Having more lean meats will do the same to protein. With the…

Have a piece of fruit. It is sugar and it will hopefully stop the craving. If not, then you aren't craving sugar, you are craving chocolate. If that is the case, then simply ignore the craving. Eventually your body will no longer crave it.
