I've seen that too. My treadmill calories burned are a little over half of what MFP says, so I always go with the tready. Don't want to end up undoing all my hard work!

I have to watch what I eat to lose weight. The past 5-6 months I was exercising vigorously (running 4,5,6 miles 4x a week) but not watching what I ate. I gained weight. So now I am putting the focus back on calories along with the running, but it's hard. I'd rather exercise hard and eat lots! ;-)

That happened to me last weekend when we were about to go to Red Robin. I ended up ordering a chicken burger, hold the mayo, hold the cheese, should have held the fries but didn't. I definitely went over my calories that day. Even with all that taken off, the burger was still pretty high for what I had left in calories,…

I used to shudder at the thought of working out in the AM's, but now I work in the evenings (from home) so it's not a possibility then. My morning w/o's are probably later than you would have because I stay up late working, so I sleep till 7:00, get my kids to school and then w/o before I shower. It works for me!

Hi! I'm new here too and would LOVE to lose 40 in 2 months in a perfect world, but I already know I can't do it that fast. My goal for now is 30 in 4 months and even then, that might be hard for me to do. Can you set several smaller goals? 10 pounds per 2 months sounds realistic to me. But I'm no fitness guru!
