  • My mom used to be pretty bad about the food pushing when I was first losing weight but she did slow down a lot once she saw the proof that all my "no thanks" was paying off and all those "it's just one, everybody needs a treat now and then" was causing her to gain weight. My ex-boyfriend was still in the picture for about…
  • Water, milk actually seems to help me a lot too as it has a little protein which is great for muscle recovery, stretching stretching stretching, I'll do yoga on my "rest" days to keep me from tightening up, foam rollers and heating pads, massages.
  • Sourdough toast with butter and a sports drink
  • Yes, I use creatine. Craze from Bodybuilding.com I like the boost I get in my workouts and the increased muscle tone is really great.
  • More often than not I match, but it may not always be the bra and undies. Sometimes it's my bra and shoes or my undies and my shirt. I'm odd like that. One thing I do try to match on is if I'm wearing a skirt or dress (especially if they're shorter) I try to make sure my undies match the skirt/dress. When I had a guy he…
  • Cruzan Rum buckets, my favorite bar makes them and they are SO fabulous :drinker:
  • Only difference for me was I did the leaving. For some reason he still seemed to think that he could put the moves on me when I lost the weight and I'd be receptive. :explode:  And he wonders why there's always people around when he comes into town to see the kids.
  • ^^^What he said. Although as a slightly stereotypical woman and a single mom on top of that I get up closer to 3:30 to 4 but I also do a few chores first thing in the morning like folding laundry and empty the dishwasher. Mundane stuff that gives me a little time to fully wake up so I don't hurt myself doing my workout in…
  • "The best time to workout is the same time everyday" I don't remember who said that but knowing me it was likely Jillian Michaels. The point is consistency, you're body will get used to working out at a specific time and it will perform better at that time. If you try morning workouts and like it then stay with them, if…
  • I'm a single mom with two kids (8 & 6) and I get this one a lot. Like you I'm trying the online dating thing and yeah it's very annoying to have guys assume I want them to meet my kids straight away. Plus if I let them come over to my house on a first meeting they're likely to think we're gonna have sex and that's not…
  • Oh the list I could create  Materialistic would of course have something to do with her hobbies or movie/tv preferences or maybe accessory preference (jewelry, shoes, purses). Romantic gestures usually involve wanting to feel special, appreciated, and free from decision making or responsibility of any sort.…
  • No before and after pictures. I'm terrible about doing those :ohwell: but I did the program and saw great results. Started seeing them around the halfway mark and by the end could really tell the difference. Considering doing it again to see if I can make even further improvements.
  • It should be noted that wearing yoga pants while walking around your neighborhood in the early morning hours can lead to awkward conversations with random strange men. But hilarious stories when retold to your girlfriends and/or over protective guy friends. I  my yoga pants!
  • I debated very heavily on whether or not to go back to my maiden name when I went through my divorce. There were a few factors for me... 1) I work at the same company as my dad and he holds a management position, I didn't want people to see the same last name and assume I got my job because of him. I wanted to be treated…
  • My kids played a role sure, I want them to see their mom healthy. But it was an escape for me. I was in a miserable relationship and I found that working out and focusing for once on myself made me happy and I eventually gained the courage and self esteem to leave a bad situation before my kids got hurt . Now my motivation…

  • I'm a softie, I cook differently for my kids than myself. Not always and I try to have stuff that we're all eating but it's not uncommon for them to have different sides or occasionally completely different meals.
  • Their smile and arms (biceps primarily). I love it when a guy can give me a sexy smile that says I wanna eat you up and the arms to pick me up and carry me to the....yeah :blushing:
  • I love you! This is so me too!

  • It's happened once or twice. I try to make a point of mentioning my kids fairly quickly so I don't end up wasting my time. I've been fairly lucky that a lot of the guys I meet either have kids of their own or really like kids so don't mind that I have them. Hope you find somebody like that, everybody deserves that…
  • A LBD (little black dress), okay I don't care about the color I just want to rock a little dress.
  • I'm a huge flirt! Always have been. This used to be known only by my friends and family because to most of the world I was invisible. Now that I'm not invisible it's occasionally an issue because guys think my flirty behavior means I want them when I don't. However my friends tend to get a huge kick out of it because I…

  • I'm greedy, one isn't enough...I want the ability to be invisible and the ability to read minds. But if you're going to be mean and make me choose...invisibility, oh the things I could do!

  • Congrats on the NSV! Enjoy every positive that you come across on your journey, they will help you stay motivated. :flowerforyou:
  • "We need to talk" Detest that one, because it always gets sent and then I have to wait hours before talking to the person, usually to find out it wasn't that big of an issue. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrr!
  • Only drink more than one drink at my bar, the one I've been a regular at for over a year that I live across the street from and know all the staff.
  • There are too many to name  but probably creamy peanut butter if I have to choose only one.
  • Personally I like guys who are around 6' plus (I may only be 5'5" but I like my high heels) and muscular. Not competitive body builder muscular that's a bit much but as to whether it's more bulky muscle or lean muscle I'm not too picky. I have this thing for guys with big biceps, especially if they're also tattooed. So…
  • I've lost about 80 bls and have some loose skin, it was worse but as I've been working hard on toning, staying hydrated and the simple factor of time it is getting better. I have two guy friends who have lost over 100lbs each. One has almost no loose skin the other has a fair bit especially on his chest, back, stomach area.…
