  • I like to eat a piece of leftover meat from the night before. Breakfast doesn't have to be eggs, bagels or fruit. Its' just another meal.
  • The article referred to eating supper and then not eating again until the same time the next night. Easier to manage hunger that way. It was basically making the same case as muscle confusion. Just mixing it up a little bit to keep your body on its toes
  • It really just depends on how the steer was "finished"....90 days on corn has quite a bit of difference in fat content than 90 days on grass. Excess fat is trimmed, but marbling is what is left in the meat.

  • I'm well aware of that, but my diet consists of a lot more meat than the average american diet. The title of the post was intended to garner the attention of like minded dieters, rather than appealing to 99% of the board population. But thanks anyway for the clarification.
  • Mission makes a low carb tortilla that works well for wraps, tacos and fajitas and the taste is about the same as a regular flour tortilla. Joseph's flat bread has a low net carb count.

  • I went in for a check up 5 years ago and my cholesterol was 252. I began eating in the manner I described and even though I raised my daily intake of fat and cholesterol, I have dropped my cholesterol level down to 206 as of a few weeks ago.
