When you use the body media you are using it's calorie goals, not MFP. So pay no attention to what MFP tells you to eat. Just use it to log your food.
-
Ideally you wouldn't have any left over. The goal is to meet your goal, not be under. But that's not always possible, some days you'll be over and some days under, but as long as your weekly average is met you should be straight.
-
I would suggest avoiding the long cardio on the same days you strength train.
-
There is no point my dear.

Get a DVD program with the type of style you know you'll enjoy. I suggest ChaLean Extreme. Absolutely amazing at-home program that uses weights or resistance bands.
-
I love that you love your thighs!!! Something I am working on so mad props
-
Are you doing anything other than running?
-
So you say that you know you aren't eating enough, and 1450 is your "maintenance". A cheat meal with your friends isn't going to hurt you, and you don't need to "do anything extra" to accommodate it. You need to eat more so I think this will actually help you.
-
What are "bulky" abs?? You want your abs to show you need to reduce your body fat %. Unless you are extremely short, sounds like you need to eat more. You also need to start advancing beyond body weight exercises and add load. Focus on heavy lifting, eat more, get enough protein and they will come out. But if you continue…

HELL YEAH! 10 pounds heavier, but so much leaner and tighter! THIS, THIS IS WHAT LIFTING DOES FOR US WOMEN How can anyone argue against weights now?? WAY TO GO MY DEAR!
-
wtf. NEVER EVER EVER go that doctor again!!!! Even 1200 is considered extremely low. If you are at 1200 you should be eating back any calories burned!!!
-
really? Nobody has started this program yet???

Yes, I'm not looking for a HRM. I have a polar, well had, but I want an all day one. My body media got too annoying to keep wearing... I gear a lot about the fitbit, but mainly about how it's not very accurate :/
-
Oh thank you but I'm not talking about fitness equipment like that. I mean those devices you wear that track things like steps taken and such to give you an approximation of how many calories your body burned that day.

Don't be bummed. It's water weight. It's extremely normal to see a gain after upping cals. Your body needs to adjust, especially if you've been doing very low calorie dieting. Start with simple, basic moves as far as your weight training goes. Master them with body weight first before adding additional loads. Squats,…

I love going 5-6 days a week. I participate in classes as well as do my own thing. Go at least 3 but more if you'd like! It gets way more fun when you become a regular. :)

The need to take a million face pics of myself went away. Before I didn't feel sexy so I relied on the comments of others. Now that I feel it I don't need the approval of others.

You're pretty similar to me except my SW was 190. I'd love to see 130 but haven't weighed myself since August. **** that scale.

broad shoulders, square jaw, man's man ie Dean Winchester

we can't but she can.

If you were eating 1200 calories and eating back your cals and now switched to a straight 1360 without eating back you didnt up your calories, you decreased them. If you are going to strength train and lose the last bit (which you need to strength train to do so kudos for making that choice!) then you NEED to actually up…

it's great, but pricey! hyper fx gave me the same boost as the cellucor but way cheaper online.

"Heavy" is a relative term. Its not a particular number, but what is heavy for YOU, not anyone else. There is no reason why you cant start now, especially if you have the help of a PT to help you with form! But, if you still want to wait until you are more comfortable with weights in general, I highly recommend NROL4W for…

Thank you everyone so much for the insight and advice!

The other court is available for use, but it hardly ever gets used... It's a racquetball court and there's not very many members that use it.... But you are right, it all comes down to money and it would be an extremely tough sell. I don't think the Zumba goers would care what court room its in honestly, but she does. I am…

Such good advice so far.. Thank you.... I have to admit, I am rather nervous about talking to my boss about it because his wife is rather, well, aggressive, especially to him. :/
-
Yeah it is she just likes it better.

Well honestly you can't claim machines. That's rude. When you are not using them they are fair game to anyone else, regardless of your routine. The same applies to everyone. Standing next to the machine while on the phone and not allowing anyone else to use it is rude as well. Basically, if your butt ain't on it, anyone…
