I have/had severe social anxiety. Was on meds for some time when I was a teen. And I will tell you first hand- EXERCISE WORKS. From the science standpoint it causes your body to emit chemicals, endorphins and such, that are mood boosters. The more you do, the better you will feel- TRUST ME.

Do you have a closer gym to you? Because 20 minutes doesn't sound THAT long, but if you plan on going everyday it gets to be a pain in the *kitten*. If you have closer gyms to you that are slightly more money I would go there because it'll even out from what you save in gas, and you'll be more likely to stick to it!

You're fine. The "zones" are bs. You burn the most fat, and the most calories, by working out at an intense rate. If you don't feel dizzy or like you are going to puke then I would not worry! Mine is to get my personal trainer certs and not be scared to get out there and put them to use! I say this because I haven't worked in over 3 years and I am pretty terrified to enter back into the workforce... aye!

You shouldn't aim for anyone else's measurements. Everybody carries their body and weight differently... One person's measurements that look great on them might look real silly on you.... Just focus on being YOUR best ;)

Working out shouldn't make you feel that way... That's your body telling you to slow down. Your personal trainer should be recognizing this and take it a notch down. I'd look for a new one.

I went from a size 9 to a size 14 to a size 2 all with the same ink and it looks the same... I suppose it could make a difference on where you got it, the detail in it, and what you plan on doing with your body (ie getting a bicep tattoo that has a ton of detail only to plan on getting huge biceps might distort the detail)…
