I have cheat days once a week because it helps my weekly calorie goal get met since I am often under as well. Not by as much as you though. Plus I like to do it cuz its fun. Plus studies have shown that it helps to kick start the metabolism since it has to work harder for a day (cuz it gets used to working with the same…

Some ppl say to eat small frequent meals throughout the day (like you said) but you don't have to. It doesn't work for everyone. Like me. I like to sit and eat and 3 meals a day with maybe a snack works great for me. Your metabolism will treat both the same, despite what others may say. You just gotta do whats best for you.

O, your body will quickly adjust and you'll ask yourself how you ever went by eating less! lol your energy will be up too!!!!

1400 is usually low for a woman, let alone a man!! go to fat2fitradio.com, use the bmr calc and figure out how many cals you really need. MFP gives everyone the lowest possible amount, even though you can eat more (in most cases) and lose at the same rate. also, mfp does underestimate allowable sugar. I never count the…

I mix mine with a tbsp of tartar sauce, lemon juice and salt and pepper.

Just add some fresh fruit and stevia. Don't count the sugar in the fresh fruit.

No it is not. And neither is your food intake. In order to look defined you must do strength training AND fuel your body enough.

Every week I have a day where I go over by about 1000 calories, if not more. Been that way for my entire weight loss. Would I have lost faster if I didn't have those days? Maybe.... But I enjoy it, so it's worth it.

I put my favorite recipes up on YouTube and/or on my Fitness FB page/blog here on MFP. If it's a go it will go up lol

lol I'm not THAT worried about the calories!

What's wrong with snacking?

It doesn't matter. Some people get sick to their stomach if they eat before working out (like me) Some people work out better if they eat about an hour beforehand. Do what works best for you.

Try taking a pre-workout supplement in the AM to get you going. Does wonders for me! ( I'm not talking diet pills. I'm talking the powders you add to water that only last about an hour or 2 with no crash. Similar to those 5-hour energy shots but for athletes)

Both. Your body won't just shut down after eating a day or 2 of low cals. But if you are constantly not eating enough for your body, you will become unhealthy, you will lose muscle (and hair) and your metabolism will slow down to compensate for the lack of food. There is absolutely no reason to eat so little to lose…

Yes, REMOVE the damn thing! You really think you will keep on working out if you are in pain?!?! Nope. Just get it removed and while you are recovering focus on changing your eating habits. Weight loss comes from a calorie deficit anyway. Use the time healing to learn how to cook yummy foods in a healthy way and focus on…

You're gonna get opinions in either direction. But from my experience, it makes no real difference. I've tried it both ways with the same results. My advice would be to do the one that is harder for you first, so you are not drained by the time you get to the second half and can't push hard.

I used to hate exercising..... but I kept doing it. And then I started to see myself change, and that intrigued me. So I started pushing harder. Like really hard. And I discovered a little thing called endorphins, which is what your body releases after an intense workout. It makes you feel SUPER good, and your body starts…

Dark Lotus a cpl years back. What a powerhouse of great music!

If you're talking about burning through exercise, technically none. Weight loss comes from a calorie deficit in your diet, so as long as you are eating under your TDEE you will lose weight.
-
So here's what I do. I chose sedentary activity level. Then when ever I workout I log my calories and I eat them all back. When I go for walks over an hour I log half the time I walked for... That way I don't have to worry about an accurate activity level. If you don't want to worry about eating back your calories, I would…

You will not get a manly body from lifting heavy. But yes you can lose weight with Tae-Bo. You can lose weight with any workout program as long as you have a calorie deficit.
