Yep and can all be done through the settings tab

I eat my exercise cals back some days, as if I didn't I feel zombied. I think it's personal choice. If you feel hungry after busting your butt then I say refuel the body

You do need to mix up your workouts otherwise your body becomes accustomed to them and plateaus. Always keep your body guessing.

There is weight training in the database in the Cardio section

I had the copper coil IUD was in so much pain, had to go for a scan only to find it had actually become imbedded in me had to go to hospital to get it pulled out, not a good experience I still get pains on the side that it was imbedded. Everyone is different though, I was on depo for a bit until I found out it's really bad…

Like you I am the classic "apple" shape. Unfortunately if you could spot reduce your problem areas everyone would be doing it. I have found with lots of cardio my tummy area and back is finally slimming. Just keep building a sweat daily and you will be sure to see results. Also I suggest you measure as this will give you…

I would think puberty would play a big factor in that. As generally you gain during puberty perhaps.

I have had to start getting up super early due to time limits. It is taking a bit of getting use to but I feel great knowing my workout is out of the way and I have the day to do other things.

do you mean to have your ticker in forums?

I usually take my bpm during each exercise and then use this formula C=(0.4472 X HR - 0.05741 X W +0.074 X A - 20.4022) X T / 4.184 Example: 28 year old weighing 146lbs average heartrate during exercise session that lasted 36min was 138bpm She Burnt: C= (0.4472 X 138 - 0.05741 X 146 + 0.074 X 28 - 20.4022) X 36 / 4.184…

By my calculations you burnt about 522cals. I use the C=(0.4472 X HR - 0.05741 X W + 0.074 X A - 20.4022) X T /4.184 hope this helps

Don't think it matters what people wear as long as they are pushing their hardest and not making a fashion show about it. Here in New Zealand we don't have the extended range of workout clothes available, so I do get a bit envious with all the nice outfits other countries have.

My partner has a goatie. Without it he looks too young (he is 4 years younger than me) lol.

I highly recommend JM 30DS you only need a couple of light hand weights and if you don't have those then a couple of tinned fruit. She shows modification to the movement so it would be at your own discretion what you are comfortable in doing. Good luck with it. It's a great program

Well it sounds good, I guess I just hate these products these days that claim you can lose X amount in X number of days those are the ones that get my back up and I know they target the vulnerable. Your book sounds pretty much what we do here on MFP with a bit of a bonus. Does it have meal suggestions?

I still don't quite understand why people get into these "diets" if you are in it for the long haul then healthy eating and exercise is the way to go as it should be a lifestyle change. Time and time again these diets have shown to be a temporary fix and sometimes puts you at risk. Not only that but once you start eating…

When I tore my ligament in my ankle I didn't have a chance to let it heal completely (had a 3 month old to look after) and now with cold weather I deal with pain because of it. I think it is important that if you have an injury let it heal and work on other areas while it does. Injuries suck and take time to heal but it's…

I think it is great to have before pictures. When I did mine it made me really realise just what I was dealing with I just didn't realise how big I was. They aren't pretty but once you get started and take more and see the progress you are making it definitely spurs you on. It's also good to see just how far you have come.…

Me and my partner are also looking at quitting this week tomorrow in fact. I have the same fear as you that it will mess with my head and stop me from exercising. Ultimately smoking is a drug addiction and we are all addicts as bad as the druggies. This is one thing that has really made me want to quit. I want to be a…

I am going to use an old bag of mine and just fill it with kilo bags of rice. Fingers crossed it works otherwise I may be cleaning rice for a year LOL

I find that if I don't have something sitting in the fridge or pantry then it is easier not to have. I use to love Coca Cola typical as it is the worst fizzy for you. As for the craving I tend to only feel them when I go shopping and see the fizzy on special. But over the time that I have started this journey I have been…

Welcome Cely, so glad you opted out of the surgery and the diet pills. Doing it the natural way is the best. Motivation must come from you. Set some goals both short term medium and long, they don't even all have to be about weight loss. Have a focus board, my one has my goals up and some inspirational quotes that are sure…

I agree with both of these ideas would be great!!

Make sure you have a good pair of shoes, and warm-up and stretch out your legs really well beforehand. http://www.sportsinjuryclinic.net/cybertherapist/front/lowerleg/shinsplints/stretching.php
