I have 2 c-section scars. They are ugly, long and bumpy. But, they don't seem to bother anybody but me. I have noticed many men don't notice the same things women notice. I know many man that cannot see cellulite even if you point it at them or squeeze your skin to show the bumps. Same things for stretch marks. Apparently…

I don't know my total so far, but I have a few days with over 900 calories burned. So, no doubt I'll make it. Let's drop it like it's hot, since it is 104 degrees today and I survived! Do we burn more in hot temperature? It would at least be something!

Did W4d1 yesterday. I wanted to run today as well, but it is 104 degrees outside and 98 in my garage, where I have the treadmill. No way! I did it yesterday and my heart rate was 156 the whole time, compared to my regular 144 when I run. I guess the heat wasn't appreciated. Oh, I forgot! I found a 5K to run in September!…

Posting for Wednesday and Thursday, too. Wednesday walked 1.88 miles. Not much. Thrown 6/12 hand grenades. Thursday walked 4.5 miles, run 2.5 miles. 1 hour of yoga ( too bad it doesn't count). Thrown 13/12 hand grenades. With the Heath wave I managed to drink all my water. I think today was the hottest day so far. Forgot…

It can be both. If you are on the treadmill you notice it better. You can either walk, really really fast, or jog really slow. Yesterday I was jogging at 4.5 but I could make long steps and walk as well, to give it a rest. I think that is the limit speed between walk and jog. Unless you are super-duper tall. At 5mph it is…

In between w3d1 and w3d2, which is tomorrow, I threw in a fun run on the treadmill. I did 20 minutes at a heart rate of 144. Beside my muscles not ready to run more than 2 miles, I think my heart can take it. I wonder if I should go directly to week 4. Week 3 only has 3 run intervals and are pretty short. Anybody skipped a…

So, so tired. Just quickly reporting. Monday jogged 2.25 miles speed 5mph. Thrown 7 hand grenades. (Didn't use all 12) Tuesday jogged 1.69 miles speed 4mph. My muscles are sore from yesterday's run. Couldn't go any further or faster. Thrown 6 hand grenades. Damn water. Why are you so hard to drink? Do you think the zombies…

I have a 2 inch gap myself, even though I didn't have a vertical cut. It happens with pregnancy,, when the belly pushes out the muscles and the junction ligaments break. Only surgery and tight belts can help. In your case they did cut the ligaments, wasn't just the pregnancy. Gosh, my belly looks so ugly. If I exercise…

Started week 3 today. It was so smooth that added an extra 6 minutes of running at the end. I may consider skipping to week 4. Today it was a big change for me. First of all I got a treadmill, which is great. No more excuses and no babysitter needed. Then, I bought serious running shoes. The pain on my shins that followed…

Monday jogged 2.25 miles. Thrown 7 hand grenades. (Didn't use all 12) Congrats team for the victory! I think, being the last team on, on the waiting list, and really wanting to get in, really motivated all of us.
-
Congratulations to all 3 teams. That was a lot of stairs. Keep it up for next week!

So, final weight 136.7. SW 138.2. I need to drink water (not soda or tea). My goal is 12 glasses a day. My weapon is hand grenade. At the end of the day I hope I'll have thrown all my 12 hand grenades to zombies. I'm getting a treadmill today. Ready to run!!!

That's so sad. This chalenge is creating a nice group. I don't know if it is going to be harder from now on, may be there will be less walking involved. May be for this week the team can pick up your load. Do you guys think it is possible? Should we ask for it? I decided to run, not walk. But, I can walk an extra 20 miles…

Week 2 completed. Can't wait to start week 3! I start liking running. Don't love it yet.

I just got the dvd. Planning on starting tomorrow. I want to see if it is something I can like. I'm already doing the c25K and a few other challenges, but I'd like to keep active.
-
I separated them during the day. So, I don't think they burned many calories. But, I did it. It's a start. :)

Day1: 730 Day2: 520 Day3: 432 Day4: 512 Over 1800 and 2 more days to go.

Last night I was too tired to log in. Sorry. Here are my numbers so far Day1: 730 Day2: 520 Day3: 432 With today I'll go over 1800. Where do we stand compared to the other groups? It looks like everybody is doing lots of stairs.

W2d1 done. I went to the gym today. I found it easier to run on the treadmill instead of outside. But, I think I like outside better, and eventually any run will be outside. So, just have to get used to it. Anyhow, I ran at 6mph and walked at 4mph. My hart rate was at 152 all time, and I felt fine resistance-wise. But,…

I'm taking advantage of my children. They are doing the counting for me, as well as doing the stairs. We go from the basement to the bedroom upstairs 10 times for a total of 320 steps. They have fun, burn calories as well, and keep track of the times we went up and down. I also did som hauling along the way, like taking…

I had 2 c-sections. Last one 5 years ago and still my belly looks like crap. But, I managed to get the bulk of it out of the way wearing a compressive band on my stomach, especially at night. That pushed my muscles back in and reduced the volume. Right now I still have excess skin and muscle separation due to the…

I agree on Moving Comfort. I like the Fiona, but also the other models are great.

Well, I didn't make it. Yesterday was my sit-ups day and today my abs are burning badly. I couldn't even take 20 crunches. I need 2 days to rest from the sit-ups. So, beer is on me.
-
So far I did 730+520 = 1250 I might get more done tonight. I'm down in the basement right now and eventually will have to go back upstairs. :)
-
I'm in.

I believe we don't have a capitan yet. Has anybody step up?
