I'll keep my August goal at 75 miles for August... and strive to achieve it. It's so dang hot and humid down here in FL, it's hard for me to get my runs in!! Most of my runs lately have been short -- 3-5 miles!

16 miles for me this week July total so far = 42 Not getting in as many miles this month because of the heat/humidity. Our group is doing stadium workouts on Saturdays, instead of long runs!!!

I have two kids and work full time and it can be daunting. But... if you want it bad enough, you make the time. And you learn to involve your family as much as possible with exercising and/or eating healthy. And.... you get up at 4am and workout!!!!

I think you do have to have a chip for your shoe to use the Nike app. Laura -- I'm not entirely sure of the settings for the Droid, but... I know on the iPhone, you have to make sure your "Location Services" is on... so it can locate you... to be able to use the GPS.

11 minute mile is great!!! I've been running now for 6 months since completing C25K... and my pace ranges anywhere from10:00 to 11:30.... depending on time of day, temp, humidity, time of month, etc!!! So... you are doing fabulous!
