6'0 184-7lbs - was 253lb 2 years ago and officially lost weight and built a solid frame till now. My issue is that my body without viewing the stomach or chest in depth, I look 12-14% bodyfat but the excess skin and fat on the lower stomach makes me average at 15-17% lol. I guess my only way to lose that excess is to lose…

TBH creatine isn't expensive at all to begin with - its pennies worth in comparison to preworkouts!

This girl is on the ball! On your question; congrats first :D At the end of teh day if your simply trying to lose weight and nothing else, just count how many calories your body should be taking based on your daily activity and height/weight. Then eat less than that (a lot of members eat at a 500 calorie deficit) - the…

Although I've been lifting for around 2 years in the gym; I totally understand how you feel about taking the steps into the gym - you feel intimidated that people are snarking and staring at you for some odd reasons due to your shape or whatever. But when I first went to the gym (yes there are those immature people that…

20 sets of chest: bench press, incline bench, decline, and flyes.

A way to make your body build more muscle could be using the weight you are using now (although I do not know how heavy you would consider heavy); but increase the intensity doing it. So say instead of doing standard press ups for 80 reps - try to stand in a decline position so get a chair and do it this way and perform…

I guess so, I mean I officially stuck to lifting 1 and half years ago although it was more geared towards bodybuilding therefore never really focussed on 5x5 until a few months back - its just a bit degrading to see that physique wise, I am quite muscular in this sense (relative to what I think obviously) but see people…

For working out at home, there is plenty out can do at home where you have a bit of space... Switch the TV on and out some music on and jog, run, jump on the spot - your heart rate will rise rapidly and you'll get a good workout in terms of cardio since your home will be much warmer than the outside. If regarding strength…

omg this is the correct discussion board for me too!! I am basically a fail when it comes with pushing motion! I can deadlift 315 on good days and squat 250-265 but benching is 170lb and OHP stuck on 120-25lb. I try to incorporate the correct form e.g. for benching pinch shoulders in and down with slight arch followed by…

I've tracked my calories/macros for a better part of two years now... although I have the last 5-10kg of excess fat to kill off, I can measure things quite accurately without scales/tools/mfp if push came to shove although I still count them just to keep myself in check so not to go overboard too much.

Somebody may have mentioned already but 3 months of any type of training is not enough... if you want to lose the belly fat permanently, its a marathon not a sprint... if you are consistently getting to your goals albeit a bit slowly, keep at it and you'll eventually get there.

Such a beast, no question to ask! Just epic! :D

If you are trying to lose the last ten pounds then I am assuming that you are already quite lean and healthy (hard to tell without photo)... Beside the point, a general tip is to eat your maintenance calories for about 2-4 weeks so your metabolism can raise a bit and then reduce the calories again
-
To the title question... You only lose belly fat by dropping overall body fat of your body...no other way around it. Lifting heavy or light does nothing for losing belly fat as such but increases calories burned and builds muscle over time. Using lighter (moderate) weight is also useful as long as you engage the muscle…

I simply treat Easter as any other day ... as long as you track the macros of what you eat and stay within your maintance you'll be fine

lots of heavy people (like myself in the past) strangely feels/looks fatter when they have lost some weight - my own example would be after losing 10kg, instead of being a square stack of a frame (as a body), I had indents here and there which almost accentuated my 'fatness' as I could physically see flabs become more…
