I eat 5-6 times a day (low calorie foods) which keeps me from crashing and provides steady energy throughout the day. My routine is to eat breakfast, lunch and dinner with at least two to three low calorie, healthy snacks between meals.

You could try to drink a cup to two of black coffee or tea with your low calorie snack (it is a mere 2 calories/brewed, and curbs hunger). If you do not like plain coffee or tea, you could add nonfat milk and/or Stevia for flavor (that would not have a negative affect on your caloric intake).
