I am a very heavy person and all I can do right now is walk. I only walk 20 to 30 minutes a day. I walk a quarter of mile in the morning and than 3/4 to a mile in the evenings. I suggest you do a search on eating 1200 calories or eating exercise calories and see what has been posted in the past about this subject.

thanks everyone this has been great help. I know moving of any kind is better than nothing at all. The last 6 weeks have been a big change in my life and I am still making those changes. This site is AWESOME.

I was told once that your taste buds change every 7 years. I know there are a lot of things I like now that I didn't before and there are things I know I use to like that I don't care for anymore. So just try, for your health.

Curves was my workout place for a while, I am doing everything at home now and know as time goes and I get closer to my goal I will need to add things but for now I am happy just doing the basic's at home.

I have more than that to lose , I will be 48 next month and my goal is to be at my goal weight by the time I am 50. I have been on MFP for nearly 6 weeks and have enjoyed every minute of it. So forward we go on our healty journey to be FIT, FIERCE, FABULOUS FEMALE AT FIFTY.

I hated drinking water, but now that is all I drink (just about). I found myself grabbing a bottle first thing in the morning and keeping it at my desk all day long. I feel so much better now that I am hydrated. Never realized before how much I really needed it.

If you lose 2 pounds a week for 52 weeks that is 104 pounds in a year. and if you lose 1.5 a week for 66 weeks that would be 99 pounds and that is about you are giving yourself to lose it in. It is doable.

NOTHINGS works not even surgery if the person is not willing to do what needs to be done to lose weight. This is a self thing just like drinking and drugs. I also eat supper early and than work out later. I hate eating late and I don't get home until nearly six so by the time I cook and clean up it is after 7 and than I work out about 8 or so. I have lost weight and it has not affected me any other way.
