I had a similar situation, as a teen and in my early 20's I was in a size 14-16 (165-170lbs). After having my kids and a few very stressful years I maxed out at 254lb (size 22). I would look in the mirror and still see myself the way I used to, until someone took a picture of me and I thought to myself "who is that?, omg…

Sodium does certainly make your both hold on to water if you are not drinking enough water to flush out the extra sodium. Are you eating enough? You said you are under your calorie goal but are you getting a net of at least 1200 per day. Your body may be requiring more calories so that it isn't in starvation mode. Just…

Start with small changes...this isn't a diet, it is a lifestyle change. Commit to drinking a certain amount of water every day for a week, then then next week add a new goal. I did an 8 week spin class that had you make changes slowly and it works. Those small changes become healthy habits. When you feel hungry, think…

I can see a small difference but at first when I started losing it was in my face shoulders and arms. Great idea! I might have to try that :)

Great job! MFP has made all the difference for me as well. Stay strong!

It is possible to drink too much water...I would talk to your doctor soon.

That is how I made my kids realize that me losing 20lbs was a big deal. I told them to carry around 4 bags of sugar, their eyes went wide once they realized how heavy that was.

Great job! You are doing amazing, keep up the good work!

I love crystal light. I use about 1/2 packet for 32oz of water. Just enough so that there is flavor, 10 calories per day so that I drink 64oz of water. I can handle that :) I cannot use anything with splenda in it since it gives me raging headaches.

Awesome job!

Welcome to MFP! I really love the site and the encouragement that I receive from the other members. I have a significant amount of weight to lose and I will do it with the support I have here. I've been on since June and am amazed at what I have learned about myself and my relationship with food. Feel free to add me as a…

I love to make a spinach salad for my lunch. Baby spinach, lean chicken or turkey, shredded part-skim mozarella and some craisins. Top it with your favorite dressing, I like Ken's Tomato Vinagrette. As for snacks, if you want something really sweet, kellogs fiber bars dark chocolate almond.

Sometimes life just gets in the way. When this happens I try to find 10 minutes to just do something for exercise, a short walk or 10 mins on the bike. Bring healthy snacks with you to work something you can grab to satisfy your hunger, a granola bar, apple, baby carrots, etc. Good luck, I was having this trouble 2 weeks…

I like to buy raw almonds and toast them on an ungreased cookie sheet, that way I know there are no added oils. Thanks for the explanation!

I use WebMD alot when i want to get the best estimate for calorie burn based on weight. Many times MFP is right in sync with WebMD. The only way you can truly get an accurate calorie burn is by using a heart rate monitor. http://www.webmd.com/hw-popup/calories-burned Hope this helps. :)

I like MFP more than facebook. Only on MFP can I get the support and encouragement I need in this journey for a healthier lifestyle. We are like-minded and striving for similar goals. MFP is the BEST!!!!

There have been some awesome suggestions and I don't mean to be disrespectful but it seems like you have an answer and an excuse for every suggestion that has been provided to you. YOU have to make up your mind to do it and follow through. If YOU keep making excuses then it won't work. I wish you luck in finding a solution.

Congratulations! Quite an accomplishment :) Well done!

great job! that is awesome!

It really should not hurt you but make sure you drink a lot of water tomorrow because of the sodium level. I find when I eat out the sodium it ridiculous.

Some weight loss programs suggest that you weigh yourself every day and then get your average weight for the week. This takes into account the fluctuations. Occasionally I do weight myself more than one day a week, I find it helps keep me on track.

You are doing amazing and are an inspiration! Thank you for you continued motivation and support!

Buy a package of brownie mix and mix in a can of diet coke. Bake as directed. They're not bad at all.
