Good for you deciding to do the 30DS. I completed it this summer. One tip is pace yourself and each day you will be able to do a little more. I stayed on level one for most of the time while others in my challenge group did 10 days of each level. You do what's best for you. I plan on starting up again for another 30 days…

I am no expert, but I did just do the 30DS with a group here on MFP. Some of the ladies in the group actually gained during the shred. They stayed within their calories and drank water just like you are saying. They thought maybe after the shred they would start to lose. The ladies did lose inches by the end of the 30 days…

I am on the collar bone search myself :) I have a dress I want to wear on the first day of school (I am a teacher) that I have hanging in plain view in my closet. I see it a few times a day and I am mindful of my new lifestyle.

6 foot even here :) Love being tall. Initial goal is to lose about 50 pounds and then reevaluate from there! I am loving being more active...can't stop exercising this summer. Trying to make the most of my time off.

I just finished 30 days, yeah! I used a heart rate monitor to determine calories. Before I had one I logged it as circuit training. The MFP estimates were high for me though. Level 1 Day 1 I was sure I was going to die, but I didn't so I kept on going :) By the end my endurance improved so much. I lost 8 pounds and 13…

I think now we would be referred to as "free range kids"...man, those were the days! When the streetlights came on, we all knew to head home. Didn't need a text reminder from our parents :)

I actually find the school year easier to plan meals. I use a menu planner I downloaded free from moneysaving mom. Portion control is easier than during the summer.
