What a great way to start the new year. In the next fifty days I plan to: 1. Complete the challenges from this group 2. Run 2 to 3 times a week 3. Complete 2 training session at the gym a week (NROLFW) 4. Log, log, log :) 5. Encourage others along the way 6. Lose pounds or inches or both!

I am so glad I read through this post because I now know that I am normal, haha! I thought I was the only one who struggled through that awful first mile :) I did C25K October through December and have run four 5Ks this year. My pace is 11-12 minutes per mile. Slow and steady, that's me. Starting to up my distance a bit.…

I too completed C25K and have done a few 5Ks so far this year. Now that all of our kids are in college and beyond, the hubby and I realized we finally have time to do what we want to do, haha! Kids think we are crazy, but it sure is fun to train and compete. Would love more running friends, the more the merrier :)
