I'd go in with a plan. Whatever the plan is, stick to it. Be proud of yourself for following it even if the plan is to eat whatever you want on your birthday but to immediately go back to your goals the next day. I bet if you just cut all drinks with calories and replaced those with water (and drank a bunch more water, probably) you could put those calories into protein sources and feel stuffed everyday. Thanks! Dukan low carb, for me, was awful for a week or so until I got adjusted and then I was fine. I actually stuffed myself and never felt hungry since I could have as much of the allowed foods as I wanted.
