You can't just snack on fruit with abandon. I cherry has 1 gram of carbs from sugars. Eat more vegetables like bell peppers, tomatoes, etc. They are also sweet.

How can anyone help you with so little information. At least open your food log. It's pretty simple, lean protein, fruits, vegetables and some dairy. Lots of fruits and vegetables. Where is the sugar coming from? If its dairy, fruits and vegetables, don't worry. If its sweets and junk - don't eat them.

I agree with the above poster. I have no patience with adults who are picky eaters. We can all learn to eat healthy if we want to. If you truly panic, you need professional help.

Exercising 3 times a week isn't enough and how are you measuring 700 calories burned. You need to do cardio every day and strength training 2-3 days a week. Do you weigh and measure and journal all your food? What do you eat? Open your journal.

How could a pound of muscle weigh more than a pound of fat. A pound of anything is 16 ounces. Muscle takes up less volume than fat so that's why your body looks smaller. But a pound is till a pound.

You'll be retaining water so may looked bloated in the belly area. 12 rice cakes are about 600 calories!

You should have started strength training the day you started your diet. When you don't, you lose lean body mass along with the fat so you end up with a higher BF%. You're going to have to do more to get the lean body mass up and look toned.

You need strength training while losing weight if you don't want to lose lean body mass along with the fat. Sure you can lose weight without it, but you'll end up a fat skinny person.

JSuttonTorres - If you are still experiencing symptoms and on medication, your levels aren't optimized. Go back to the doc or find a new doc. Quitting medication will only make it worse. Medication has to be taken on an empty stomach and then wait an hour before eating. Did you do that?

You to figure that again! 24 calories covers 6 grams of carbs - so 24 calories is very unlikely. There are NO negative calorie foods.

Carbs are the least satisfying foods to eat, best is protein followed by fat. Up your protein and cut the carbs.

At your current weight, 10 pound loss in August is not realistic or healthy. Do you weigh and measure your portions? Do you keep your journal? I'm hypothyroid and eat more protein than carbs and it helps a lot. Carbs cause water retention.

It depends on your age, how much weight you have to lose, and genetics. Whatever you are left with after a year at goal will be what you have. It's the price we pay for getting overweight.

Maintenance is going to depend on age, gender, amount and type of exercise, and food choices. You can't get an idea of what you'll be able to eat in maintenance from someone else.

Cooked veggies are more dense than raw or frozen. The calories for 1/2 cup would be the same as for 1 cup frozen.

I have a protein shake in the morning with 29 grams of protein and 3 net carbs. I then go to the gym and do 2 water aerobics classes and yoga. I have an abundance of energy. I also do low carb.

At your current weight, you don't need to lose more. Cut out some carbs to lose the belly and do resistance training 3 times a week. Eat more protein to help build muscle. Losing weight is not going to make your belly flatter. There is no way to predict where the weight loss will come from.

The water just tells you how hydrated you are. I run around 42% water and I do low carb. You will have a higher water % if you eat a lot of carbs. Don't be concerned about the water,. what is your lean body mass. That and body fat are important.
