Weight Watchers has built 5 servings of fruits and vegetables into the formula to calculate points. They are never free they just are pre-counted. You can take in hundreds of calories if you eat a lot of fruit and vegetables. Count it. Your body does.

Sure you can lose weight without exercise. You will lose muscle along with fat and be unhealthy.

Weight gain is not a recognized side effect of celexa. I've been on it over 6 years .

Tha is far too much fruit for one person to consume in a day!

Whey and soy proteins are both quickly processed by the body. Try a casein protein shake to keep feeling full for hours. EAS 15 LEAN is one brand.

Sorry, but the poster who said it doesn't matter what you eat is showing his ignorance. The body requires no carbs for life but you will die if you don't get sufficient protein and fat. If you eat junk, you will have health problems - heart disease, diabetes, kidney disease.

I'm a low carb person and just did a half marathon and didn't eat more than 50 net carbs a day. The body burns fat for energy when it doesn't have a supply of carbs.

That nuts aren't that great for the calories per slice. 250 calories of bread in a sandwich - I don't think so.
-
I sincerely doubt you are burning anywhere near that number of calories a day. Are you losing 5-7 pounds a week? Get a BodyMedia or HRM if you want an accurate measurement.

Weight is the only accurate way to measure. Try measuring out that 1/4 cup of cheese or cup of cereal and then weigh what you measured. You could be eating a lot more calories than you think if you don't weigh.

The old recommendation for sodium was 2500 mcg but it was lowered over a year ago to 1500.
-
How about a protein shake or smoothie that you could sip on all day? You can pack a lot of good nutrition into one.

You will die if you don't eat protein but you can never eat a carb and have a healthy life. Its excellent to be over on protein and under on carbs.
-
Most of us got to be overweight listening to our body telling us when to eat and what to eat.
-
I see no progress at all. Just highly processed foods loaded with sodium and too few calories.
-
The food manufacturers research until they find the "sweet spot" - just the right combination of sugar, salt and fat to keep you eating even though you have already had a serving and maybe are feeling full. It isn't just the sweet stuff, salty stuff, fatty stuff (peanut butter has sugar added) and all the processed foods…

I'm sure some of it is that. It's also unrealistic to expect to lose weight every single week even if you did the exact same exercise and food.

I have more engery now than ever. I do water aerobics, water zumba, yoga, pilates and lift heavy and have plenty of energy. The body burns fat really well for energy is you give it the chance. I'll be doing a half marathon in November so am also training for that. I do not eat potatoes, bread, bananas etc.

It can very well be the grains. When we eat carbs, our body stores 4 grams of water for every gram of carbs. Since going low carb my belly has been flat.

The only accurate scale is the balance beam type you see in your doctor's office and they need to be calibrated once a year.
-
No I don't. I work too hard to lose weight to chuck it all over and eat junk. I respect my body and what I put into it. Poor choices are just that, poor choices that do nothing to get us healthier.

The only way to preserve lean body mass (muscle) and lose fat is to do heavy lifting 3 times a week and eat a high protein diet. I've actually added 4 pounds of lean body mass while losing fat so my 25 pound loss really means that I lost 29 pounds of fat. This is measured by my physician, not me.

If you don't get tired while working out, you aren't working.

All your gallbladder does is store bile. Without it, the bile is still released. Those looking for an excuse will say their gallbladder surgery is keeping them from losing. Since I lost a huge amount of weight after my surgery I know that is a load of rubbish. If you put off having surgery, you may experience some of the…

You need more protein for sure. Drop the Smart Ones. They have almost no protein in frozen dinners. Have a real serving of protein and vegetables for dinner. 60% wheat bread is not good either. Get the whole wheat kind where you can actually see grains of wheat in the bread.
-
Try eating healthy food. All I see is processed stuff with little nutrition but lots of calories. Up your protein a little - 40% complex carbs, 30% protein, 30% fat.
-
You are far better off eating the whole fruit or vegetables than blending it into a smoothie. When you do, you breakdown the food and your stomach doesn't have to do so much work or burn as many calories to process it. It's very easy to drink too many calories in a smoothie, but hard if you eat the whole food.

I buy organic because to be certified organic it can contain no GMOs, it's pesticide free, and far healthier without the preservatives. There are measurable benefits. Check out dr. wiel's website for one.

A craving lasts about 15 minutes and doesn't need to be satisfied with anything.

Only an uninformed person would say corn is a vegetable. It's a grain.
