My first bpc (choc) 10g raw cacao powder 1 tbsp coconut oil 1.5 tbsp kerry gold butter 250mls boiled water 60mls double cream Vanilla extract All zapped in the nutribullet It tastes ok, the raw cacao is a little hard to take hence more cream and vanilla and the cream has brought up the calorie count but the texture and…

Does anyone use fibre powder? I was thinking of getting some, can just be added to water to drink, 15g a day accounts for about 10g of fibre.
-
also what is HWC?

I don't drink coffee, it makes me gag so what is the hot chocolate option about? Presumably not regular cadburys??? HELP!

I'm aiming for 73 lbs loss, I may go more but this was the last weight I remember being really happy with so am aiming for it & see how I go.

I was def programmed... must eat fruit, must eat enough vegetables, must eat some carbs but you know what, my body doesn't support that. Fruit spikes my sugars, the odd berry in some yogurt for a sweet treat is enough but not every day & vegetables are fine but I prefer salad type things. I ate roast chicken for lunch…

Oh and only eating when I am hungry, which is a lot less often than when I ate to schedule. So if I don't feel it, I don't eat lunch but might have a couple of cheese strings or some egg mid afternoon. I've missed a proper dinner 3 times this week as I am not hungry either till quite late but would always eat at around 6…

quick update. I'm doing well, had a few carb blow outs but for the past few days have been feeling my mind changing. I've lost 5 of the 7lbs I challenged myself to lose by end Oct so that's good. If I get the other 2 gone by deadline I'll be happy. Realistic goals. I'm laying off fruit too which seems to help. Am still…

Can I ask you all, do you calorie count when doing low carb or not? I find I should cc but without the carbs find it is not really needed. I do but purely to keep track of my veggie carbs and sugar but in terms of calories in, as long as I am under carbs & sugar the calories don't seem to matter.

Pork scratching. yumm. we have a Saturday market & a local butcher sells a huge bag of the real stuff for £2. Think I need to pick one up every week & portion it out. You are also right DissLocated about Morrisons, they do have a great hot meat counter. I have one about 5 mins away from me so maybe a stop in first on a…

Thanks for the suggestions. I have mackerel fillets in oil today actually for lunch today :) I love them & have been eating them for years, I actually worked out that a lot of my diet is low carb but then I ruin it with bread rolls, crisps & what not so have been slowly adapting them out but weekends just seem to do me in.…

Thank you all, I have actually been on this group for a long time just not posting or doing very well low carbing :( My main issue is the weekends, I tend to be on the move a lot & lose focus as I find it hard to know what to eat on the run that isn't wrapped in bread. SO my aim for this week is to think up foods I can…

Oh man... Where to start; 1) Weighing in. I wi every day & it depresses me no end so I need to put the scales away & just focus on a monthly weigh in. 2) Carbs. I obsess over how many carbs are in foods (not like, bread, but basically hidden carbs in veg & salads) I will no longer care & just focus on avoiding the obvious…

urr, I go off line for a few months & miss all the drama llamas. Boo.

Shut up. That is amazing. What a total life changing achievement. You look great. And your kids are going to be happy hat dad isn't at risk for multiple killer diseases anymore.
-
This is great info, thanks all.
-
Ok, I'm going to saw something quite obvious but if you don't take it, you can't eat it. So only take a few nutritious snacks in work & leave another healthy snack in your car for when the shift ends & then go home & have a proper breakfast & sleep.

fab site, thanks so much, will spend tonight trawling for recipes

Win.

Not at all, if you were actually saying anything at all. Maybe all those carbs have fugged your brain. Try to lay off for a few days it might help. :)

Are you able to respond with more than "blah blah.....interesting" are you able to articulate just what is interesting in it so the rest of us can decide if we agree? Queue - blah blah interesting post in 5...4...3...
-
Nope, not at all but don't let your total lack of knowledge on what I think, feel or believe stop you from making claims of it. I think the discussion can be had but not with people so unable to concede to another's view as yourself. Just try to lower the righteous preaching & you might have a worthy topic.
-
What, are you all not wearing knickers either? Commando all the way hey?
-
No, not a problem at all, IF it can be done without all the preachy judgment coming off both sides on this thread.
-
I'm not wearing any love.
-
I suppose the only question you need to ask yourself is "Is what I am doing, working for me?" If the answer is yes give no *kitten* what other people do. It seems to get some of you all twisted in your knickers over other peoples decisions. Chill. Pill. And if what you are doing isn't working, then find something else.
-
You seem very sensitive. Have a break & eat a pork chop or summink.

No, if you read what she has posted, she states that she was CICO & couldn't lose weight but when she stayed in the same cico & did low carb, she started to lose.
