If you drank 2 lbs of water, then you'll weigh 2 lbs more until you urinate.

Sweat is not an idicator of working out properly. Nor is it not an idicator that you're not "gaining" anything. Your body sweats to control your body heat, not because it's building muscle. If you're not doing anything to raise your body temp then your body won't sweat. If you're doing cardio and you don't sweat, you are…

The least amount of calories you want to eat/day is 1200. If you are allowed 1500 and you've burned 500, that means you NOW have 2000 for the day. You want to make sure that you eat at least 1700 so that you don't go below 1200. The weekly excercise calories really don't matter unless you are working up for a big outting.

This is seriously something that you need to take up with your physician and/or a clinical dietician. Without knowing your medical history, how much pain you are experiencing, and what type of diet you should be on for you medication, there is not much info on this subject that anyone could give you in good conscience. I…

Just remember: What your daily goal for calories is for it LOSE weight. When you first input your info, you are shown what you normally burn/day to MAINTAIN your weight. I usually have 1 day/week that I splurge, I do keep track of my calories no matter how awful it may look. It takes 3500 calories to gain a pound. If you…

OMG- I LOVE sweet potato fries. I usually buy them at Trader Joes. I'll have to try to make my own!

And sour cream. I think if I drink a diet soda and eat sour cream, the calories cancel out...

I personally like ANYTHING with Ketchup on it... Ahem...

I make tortilla pizza. I use crushed tomatoes instead of sauce as it's sugar free. I then use ground turkey and veggies. I crisp the tortilla first in a pan and then bake the entire thing in the oven. I like Mission Carb Balance whole wheat tortillas as they are 21 grams of fiber. Yippee! I don't miss the cheese.

Here is one article from Men's Fitness about eating protein to build muscle mass. http://findarticles.com/p/articles/mi_m1608/is_5_19/ai_100545125

I cannot say that I know how to answer your question about protein as I don't know your body and health personally. I DO know from all my research and from my doctor that chicken and fish are the best sources of protein you can get. Animal protein break down easier in the body than plant proteins. Red meat- even if it is…

Yes, you need to eat back most of the "burned" calories. If you are burning 400 calories at the gym; and then only eating 1200 calories at home, you are only eating 800 calories/day; a caloric deficit.

You DONT need to lose weight. I am also 5'4" and I used to be 135 lbs. If anything you need to eat more. You probably have a very high metabolism which is what it sounds like. I wouldn't worry about eating more food.

On eating your lunch: If eating before makes you feel stronger then you should eat first. But, for me it makes doing cardio harder as my stomach is full. It all depends on how you feel.

Check out Stumptuous.com. Great information from a lot of different sources for weight lifting and nutrition. This is how I work out; and I never get bored and love how it makes me feel. FYI: No matter what your trainer said, you CANNOT "spot" train. Weight loss is universal; so if you lose fat in the thighs; you'll lose…

My initial test for the sit-up challenge was 40. I think I'm gong to pass out... J/K.

It will put you into a caloric deficit.

SHOPPING! Do lots of window shopping. Shopping is a girl's best friend. Pushing a stroller with a baby in it burns about 150 calories/hour. You can burn more by using your Snuggli or Bjorn. THAT burns about 195 calories/hour.

Yeah! I knew you could do it! I am so proud of you.

Though it's been very hard to do; I write down everything I've eaten. UGH. If I don't say it out loud; does mean I really ate THAT much ice cream?
