Exactly. I never hear anyone say 1 lb of muscle > 1 lb of fat. I just hear that muscle weighs more than fat. Just like a bowling ball weighs more than a tennis ball. People are so ridiculous.

I love to help my friends when they need it, but friendship is a two way street. I refuse to be taken advantage of anymore so I wouldn't help if they were like that to me.

I saw results on the scale in the first week. In the mirror? Well, it took longer. It took 20 lbs for my clothes to start feeling looser.

Lol some days I actually feel like anything I eat is unhealthy and would be better off not to eat at all myself.

I increased my daily net by 160 calories. Pounds started falling off again. Recently increased them by another 40 now that I'm swimming more. And I keep losing :D

Just learn from today, and plan better for the future. When I first started, I didn't even look at the macros and stuff. I just focused on calories. After a while I started paying attention to my macros. They don't really affect me with my weight loss though, but everyone's different.

I find that if I stick to my calories, for the most part, my macros are pretty close to the goal amount. Though I don't get enough protein and sometimes go way over my carbs. I sort of have an opposite experience to you :P I tore my calf muscle and have been modifying it. I've been doing level 2 for my arms and only incorporating what I can for my legs. Been seeing great results in my upper body for that. I'm sure you will still see results for your legs and core if you stick with it in any way.

Haha ex-competitive swimmers welcome too ;) I used to be really hardcore into it, but quit 4 years ago. Just recently joined the Masters on my old team ^_^ When I wasn't on the team, I would swim on my own just like you, and only use the MFP estimates, they seemed to work for me then, but yeah now I'm usually really hungry…

I went from 170 to 150 in 3 months and 1 week. Eating 1200 cals for the first month and half, now eating 1360.
