I swim about 5 times a week for an hour and half... my TYRs always last about 1.5 to 2 years.

I'm not looking for something to use in the water, it's just my main form of activity :) I used a Polar whatever (can't remember now because I haven't used it in a while) and it was just a hassle to try to use it every once in a while in the pool just to get a rough idea of my heart rate. Well, I'm primarily a swimmer. Otherwise because of injuries I do limited weight training and jogging during the summer :P

I usually make myself drink 16oz of water before I grab my binge food, and tell myself if I'm still hungary after drinking the water, I can have some. Normally I don't want the food after.

I had a breast reduction and didn't notice a difference on the scale, personally. I went from a DD to a small C. I thought I'd lose at least 5lbs lol.

In my basement gym there is a benching seat/bar thing that you can also do rows on. A homemade chin up bar, and lots and lots of dumbbells.

^THIS. I too was a little confused by this, but then I realized some bacon packages have the info for "raw" and info for "cooked" and it makes 100s of calories of a difference. I weigh all meats after they're cooked and record that. Why count weight you're not actually eating ?

^This. Also, it was smaller than I thought it would be and a LOT more fragile than it should be. Have had mine since February. It looks a little beat but still works. Take care to not drop it or let it fall because it will get small cracks.
