Try online at sites like CouponMom.com. Google "printable grocery coupons" to find websites that allow you to print your own at home. You can also sign up for grocery store shopper cards and get access to electronic coupons through your local stores. Then you don't even need to carry coupons to the store with you. And you…

Looks like the data from that site was taken from here: http://calorielab.com/news/wp-images/post-images/cheesecake-factory-nutrition-facts-calories-04.gif This info is a photo from a restaurant menu in a state where restaurants are required to provide specific nutrition info on their menu. It appears that in Washington…

Did you get the info from here? http://www.cheesecakefactorynutrition.com/restaurant-item.php?rid=58&mid=1993 I don't think this is an official Cheesecake Factory site. Like a lot of big restaurant chains, I don't believe Cheesecake Factory publishes their full nutritional info online for public consumption. The data is…

Try it in an omelette, top a green salad, add a little mayo or yogurt and make a salad for sandwiches (nuts, apples, celery, pomegranate seeds, cranberries are all great ingredients in a turkey salad), shred & add some BBQ sauce and use like pulled pork for sandwiches... left over chicken or turkey is very versatile. And…

I wash my hair every single day whether I work out or not, and I have for years and years. I also blow-dry my hair almost every day. Sometimes I skip on the weekend. I use a moisturizing shampoo for color-treated hair (which mine is) and condition EVERY SINGLE time. I use a heavy mask about 2 times a week and a shine…

When you buy a new bottle in the store, they are not sealed. And people have had their hands all over them, not to mention what gets on them when they are shipped. (I work in shipping and receiving... you don't want to know.) Personally, I'm not a germophobe. I would def use it.

My hubby and I love tacos while camping. I pre-cook and season the meat before we go, leaving it a little "wet". Store in a sealed container like a tupperware, then you just need to warm a little before dinner. Heat your tortillas over the grill and add all your toppings...yum! During our last camping trip, we learned that…

I find there are a lot of low-carb dips and spreads out there that are very tasty. I use celery sticks instead of crackers and pile on tuna, cheese spread or cream cheese. Cottage cheese is also a great, filling low-carb snack with lots of protein. Love to add walnuts or almonds to my Carbmaster yogurt.

I use a Polar Bluetooth HRM with the SportsTracker PRO app on my phone. The Bluetooth monitor allows your phone to pick to the heart rate, so no watch to wear. The SportsTracker PRO app will work with your phone's GPS to track your mileage, speed, map your route, etc. You won't need as much equipment. Check online. I don't…

I think there might be more to the dietician's stat that just the time of day. I believe it is helpful for people who lead busy lives and MIGHT come up with some excuses and skip a workout if they wait until the end of the day. Personally, cardio early AM on an empty stomach works. But I always eat breakfast first before…

Longer hair makes you look old! I used to wear mine to my waist and thought (at the time) that is was just gorgeous. Then I cut it all off and have worn it shoulder-length ever since. I look 10 years younger now than I did back then. But I'm actually 10 years OLDER! LOL

No need to panic. Take a deep breath...you've been doing this for a year now, and you know how to choose a healthy meal. Just because you don't know EXACTLY how many calories are in it, that doesn't mean you can't make a smart decision. Opt for grilled meats without a lot of sauce and steamed veggies over fries...not a…

My son suffered horribly with ingrown toenails during his teens. Eventually, he had to have a procedure done to correct the problem and kill part of the nailbed. BUT, whenever he went in to the podiatrist, their first advice was always to soak 3+ times per day in hot water and Epsom salts. It will soften the skin and help…

OP - Thanks for sharing this. :flowerforyou: I love, love, LOVE that song! I have it on my workout playlist. Great message, and a great beat, too.

That's why I got out of customer service and went into purchasing. Now I'm the customer!!

I find it much harder to start back running if I slow down to a walk. Try just slowing down your run to catch your breath, and then pick the pace back up. You might also try increasing your distance slightly each week. If you're running in the neighborhood, just pass a few more streetlights or a few more houses. You don't…

My hubby has lost over 52 pounds, and he has never eaten a salad in his life! He also does not like most vegetables. Salad and veggies are NOT required to lose weight. Continue to eat the things you like, just limit your portions. You don't have to deprive yourself, and you don't have to starve. But the excuse about…

I believe you are confusing the acronyms BMR and TDEE. BMR is what your body would burn if you did NO activity all day long...just laid in bed. I'm not sure of your height, but for a 41 year old female at 189 pounds your BMR is probably around 1550. Your TDEE, which is what you burn including your regular daily activity,…

My hubby and I hike together and use the same type of HRM...a Polar Bluetooth. The program has input for sex, age and weight. His calorie burn is ALWAYS higher than mine, probably because he has about 8 inches and 80 pounds on me.

Try the sugar-free flavored coffee syrups, just like the ones they use in the coffee house: http://www26.netrition.com/davinci_syrups_page.html I just got my holiday order from them: Pumpkin Pie (Awesome!), Toasted Marshmallow, White Chocolate, & Gingerbread. They're made with Splenda, so no calories added. Enjoy!!…

If there are no batteries in the machine, then it's probably at 0 resistance...lowest level. Most machines that take batteries in the display won't adjust the resistance unless the display is working.

I get a pretty bad callus on my thumb from my elliptical machine, and it's not attractive. Not a good idea to cut a callus, so I use a product to soften it instead. If you can find it, try Gehwol Salve for Cracked Skin. It works wonders! :)

I've had the same type of problems in the past.. I think mine was due to a piriformis strain, which is in the same area as the IT band. I had to stop running for months. Now that I'm back at it, I find I can only run every other day. Running 2 or 3 days in a row seriously aggravates the problem. Mine is only on the left…

I see that you just joined MFP but lost quite a bit prior to joining. What kind of program were you doing before? If it was something radically different, it could be that it's just taking some time for your body to get used to the new program. I would say try eating calorie-dense foods every few hours. Try the 100 cal…

It depends on what you listed as your goal weight loss per week. If you listed something high, like 3 pounds loss per week, that's probably what you'll have to eat to get there. I don't have your other stats, so I can't comment more than that. MFP takes your age, height, weight, sex and goals into account when it…

I was diagnosed with Graves Disease in 2007 and been on Methimazole ever since. I think I started feeling better within the first month, but the dosage at that time was REALLY high. I can't remember exactly, but I think I was taking 20mg 3x every day. Even the pharmacist commented on it at that time. Never experienced any…

I would recommend 2 things. First of all, try to incorporate more fruits and veggies. They're (mostly) very low cal and will fill you up and help to round out your meals. Buy whatever is on sale for the week. Fresh is best, but if you really need to cut back, frozen or canned will work. Then I would also say that you need…

My advice would be to remember that whenever you fall off that wagon (or jump off...which I do occassionally) there's always another wagon coming right behind it. Plenty of opportunity to hop back on and finish the journey. :flowerforyou:
