<Biggest sugar addict EVER! I truly cannot give up dessert. I used to eat cupcakes...like almost every night. I have given those up entirely for berries and whipped cream, sometimes I add in ghiradelli semisweet choc chips or graham crackers or nilla wafers, or I'll make a parfait of the berries with sugar free skim milk…

I did!!!!!!!!!! I signed up for a local 5k, I've done 5ks before, but only walking...I'm completing my c25k program in a few weeks so my goal is to run the entire thing...next is an 8k in April, a 10k in August (eek...its hot in Florida during that time) and the half marathon Food and Wine at Disney in November. I am SO…

My husband will NOT run...its not his thing. We have active time on the weekends and he helps support me in being verbally supportive, helping me cook healthier meals, but in the evenings the most he will do exercise wise is walk the dog with me. So I run in the morning and do all my "real" workouts at that time. IN the…

Super excited for this!!!!!!! I'll post my info tomorrow! :) Woot! Will there be an actual group set up for this or just watch the message board?

I can't do treadmills either. They make me dizzy and I just can't hang with them..not sure why....though I can't say that I can run 2 hours...YET. :)

SAME HERE! I am working towards being a runner also and the feeling when you push yourself is over the top amazing! Congrats!!!!!!!!!

Whats been up with the hook up/sex posts lately? I just ignore them and don't consider myself a prude, but there seems to be a time and a place and not sure this is it.

Super interested in this!!!!! I'm on week 6 of c25k and definitely having some knee issues here and there. I have considered adding in yoga to help and/or barefoot running in Vibram. I don't have sufficient grass area and honestly even if I did...I'd still be freaked out. We have tons of bugs down here in Florida.
-
that is AWESOME!!!!!! Are you currently running? I suggest the c25k....though that may not be enough for the actual triathalon....maybe the bridge to 10k program.

I had a goal with the reward of a massage...met it one week early so I bought a living social cert for massage and facial for $39. DEFINITELY worth it. Btw, I agree with the tanning!!!! I like it..I know its bad, but I do like it. SORRY PEOPLE!

LOVE THIS! Its definitely frustrating...mind also has tummy issues...BLECH. I actually try to push myself to exercise more during that to release endorphins and help sweat out some extra water weight....can't say that it always works, but its what I try to do.
-
20lbs during that timeframe would be my goal.

Great topic and information, but sorry not to sound nitpicky, but I am a HUGE HUGE HUGE vintage enthusiast and trying to fit in vintage clothing is a HUGE motivator for my weight loss....Ms. Monroe was a vintage 16 a modern size 8. Trust me on this I buy reproduction clothes that follow vintage sizing....and by modern…

OHMYSPARKLES!!!! YES!!!!! I have a coworker that is obsessed with what I eat and constantly negative about others that I know that are really working hard on their fitness but not losing as much weight as I guess she deems that is proper. Honestly...I pray...pray for patience. And I remind myself its her issue not mine.…

You are completely welcome and good for her. Nothing like that kind of a wake up call to get ya motivated. Send me a message later on and let me know how she is coming along. :)

Oh and for breakfast that will be an easy meal...frittatas or crustless quiches made with skim milk....I have a good recipe lemme go get it. This recipe is awesome...for a diabetic I would cut back on the corn or omit it completely and add in spinach. <http://www.shape.com/dinner/crustless-corn-and-pepper-quiche>

My father had a stroke in 2010 after many years of uncontrolled diabetes. First of all...I'm so sorry for you and her. The main thing I can tell you is that truly you can't force the change...she will have to want to change her diet and excercise. What I have read is cycling (even stationary cycling) is easiest for their…

Without a doubt. Do the c25k! www.coolrunning.com for the program details, my favorite podcast are from Suz www.kissmyblackass.org Also downloaded Chubby Jones and runningintoshape because I just started week 5 and its teen pop with Suz's. I appreciate her verbal cues and her hard work, but teen pop makes me want to throw…

Check out Girls Gone Strong on facebook and their blog...they have TONS of at home solutions for most workouts. Also Erin Stern she has a youtube channel where she has some wicked crazy vids. I know I'm not being specific, because I don't have an actual exercise solution...I'm JUST starting to strength train. Oooh and…
