I'm doing the st.pete/tampa one and probably the orlando one...if I don't run it I will probably volunteer at it!

Thank you everyone for your suggestions. I went with inspirational. I went with "You made it to the start, you WILL make it to the finish". I received tons and tons of thank yous, smiles, thumbs up, a few pics and a whole lotta Amens. It was definitely inspirational and without a doubt makes me want to do a marathon. This…

Congrats on your first marathon!!!!!! And thank you for the input...I was initially leaning towards silly/funny, but I think now that inspirational/encouraging is the way to go.

Okay....you just won me over.....I know that in my first half that I did a couple of weeks ago the volunteer that helped me the most was the one that sincerely looked at me and say You can do this.....It was exactly what I needed to hear when everything hurt.

My favorite sign I've seen so far is "is that Gu in your pocket or are you just happy to see me" I'm a huge Mae West fan so that one cracked me up! Here is a new favorite blog. http://bestracesigns.wordpress.com/

We have all been there! For me I wallow and then I must make a plan of action. I have to or I'll wallow in despair and get all cray cray. So for the sake of my sanity or those around me plan of action's are made. So you jumped back on the wagon...maybe a new training program/race schedule for you is next? BTW, I think you…

I had all 4 removed at once...best way to do it. One shot out of there. Your food intake is going to be quite limited on its own accord. Listen to the doctors. You'll be fine. I was out of it only on the day of surgery and the next day was back to walking my dog. I was sore, but fine. I think I only took 1-2 of the pain…

it is hard....or if not hard I think challenging at first. Once you find a groove it works. He NEEDS to eat more and he has to eat calorie dense foods. So he eats a lot of nut butter, avocados, muscle milks, etc. He also is able to eat bigger portions. We try to stay away from calorie dense and low nutrient foods just for…

I really personally dislike the word panties...no idea why so I prefer what most UKers use and I say knickers. Or undies or underoos.

This completely happened to me...I think in part it had to do with my clothes not fitting well....I also think it has to do with like said previously honestly looking at my body. When I was heavier I still dressed well and took a lot of care with hair and makeup....during the weight loss phase I kinda was so focused on…

I WUV YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You know that its more of a mental thing though...the way I calm myself down before race days is to say to myself I've done this before and rocked it...no big deal now. So I'm gonna shoot for a redo, but if I feel like it sucks once I get out there I'll do 8. I need to also try out some different…

I did aerial silks when I was 200 +. It was very difficult but fun...have a sense of humor. Aerial yoga on the other hand.....it was harder. I do bikram, run, have lost 40lbs and still it was really hard. I think though why not? Give it a try. The benefit I found was it was more "cardio" or aerobic than most other yoga…
