  • Every day is a bit much--it doesn't change much from one day to the next. I weigh myself every 1-2 weeks. That way if there's a change I'm excited, but I'm not obsessing over it.
  • I'm so sorry to hear that. Getting in shape is something you have to do for yourself. Do it because it makes you look and feel good, and because you like the way you look and feel when you do it. Eating pizza MIGHT make you feel good for a few minutes, but afterward, you'll still be sad, and you'll be upset that you just…
  • I once had had one banana and a cup of strawberries and was WAY over my sugar for the day already! I freaked out and went to the gym to ask my trainer about it. She said that your body actually processes fruit sugar and refined sugar in totally different ways, so fruit sugar is significantly better for you and you…
  • I totally understand! When I'm out with friends, I try to find something to do besides eat, like hang out and talk (at a non-mealtime or after I've already eaten), get coffee instead of dinner (less expensive, too!), or find friends who like working out and go to the gym together or go walk around the lake. At home, I…
  • I'm partial to Pink myself. And Beyonce's last two albums. The beats aren't as quick, but time goes by faster when I'm singing along.
  • Hey Nicole, I was starting to get bored too, so I modified the exercises. If I know what she's going to say I start the next exercise before she does, and I modified some of the moves to make them more challenging (like the ab moves). I'll also be buying heavier weights because the rows and the chest flies are too easy.
  • Hey lotus, It's a 30-day workout DVD by Jillian Michaels, one of the trainers from The Biggest Loser. It has three levels, and you do each one for 10 days. It's great because it's really short (only 20 minutes long) and you do interval training (switch exercises every 1-3 minutes). I got mine at Target. You need a yoga mat…
  • I'm in! I just bought it last week, and I really like it so far. I only have 2 lb weights at home though, and they are too light for some of the exercises, so I'll have to buy some 5s and 10s, I think. I went to the gym and did the strength training exercises with some heavier dumbbells and it felt really good.
  • I doubt that it matters. I'm personally doing it right now, and I know that I don't work out at the same time every day, but I'm definitely already seeing results, and I just recently started. I really don't think it makes a difference, it's just the consistency that really matters.
