I hope you have sought help to heal.....Sounds like you are ready to take better care of yourself. It makes me angry to hear about your unnecessary suffering. You will be surprised at how metabolizing real food will improve, absent the alcohol. Peace.

I made slow cooker Boca crumble spaghetti sauce and served it over spaghetti noodles. Used canned basil tomato sauce, half a can of Italian tomatoes, chopped onion, parmesan cheese, garlic and other italian spices.

When I reached my weight range, I changed my goal to "lose .5 lb" for the first couple of months, so I would gradually get my calories back. Because it may be discouraging to get all the water weight back if you increase too quickly.

Recognize your value as waaaaay beyond your body weight/size. Also, people of normal weight are not superior to those overweight. Because. Human qualities rule.

When was the last time you had a medical check-up? Thyroid function?

@ElisaGrace2 Hating food and hating eating sounds disordered, and not to be overly direct-- But maybe you need to talk to a professional counselor before this gets worse. Peace!

I know that hunkering down and comfort feeding is dangerous territory for me. Not obsessing, but trying not to eat just to fill time, either. My maintenance habits are definitely being tested.

Did some arm resistance/upper body work on the pulley machine and 30 minutes on the elliptical. Have access to my school's weight room.

Firmly believe I shouldn't do anything to lose weight that I can't continue in order to maintain it.

The longer you are in this, you will be more confident in your "guesstimates". That, and making sure to manage the impulse over that chip basket will serve you well. Take an attitude of "caring best for yourself"-- make yourself a priority. You can do this, one day at a time. Also, I think it's important to change your language to "having extra fat", instead of being fat. You are so much more than that three letter word.

I do best when I weigh once or twice a week. That works best to keep on top of it, without getting obsessed.

For me, too much deprivation leads to overeating. Very low caloric intake, without medical supervision, is not generally a favored practice on here.

Strength training on the machines at the YMCA, whole body, plus core work. Stair-step machine. About an hour, total.

I was up .6 lbs right after Christmas, which was still in my maintenance range. But, with exercise and normal eating, I am back down.

Drinking a mug of hot tea, as a 'treat' -- especially when I feel like I need a little something. It seems to keep me from over eating snacks, another way to improve fluid intake.

I returned to writing in my food log, ate a light breakfast, and am planning a workout at my "Y" in about half an hour.
