A local band here in Phoenix called Bear Ghost has a real Queen vibe about them. Check out their song called "Beware". (I can't post a link with the device I am currently using.)

Google "breathe behind the shield" and you'll find some decent info about breathing under tension.

Perform Better sells a good foam roller. The Rumble Roller and Rumble Roller Beasty are worth looking into as well.
-
QFT That movie was deep.

Sinister for sure. 13 Ghosts (the original from 1960) The Pit and the Pendulum....or anything with Vincent Price, for that matter.

Another vote for pull ups here. In my case it's me, not my lats, that tends to be lazy.

I wear VFF's but when my shins need protection, I have a pair of knee length Carhartt insulated work socks that I have cut the foot end off of, thus making a shin sleeve of sorts.

So I watched for 10 mins, and it timed out and gave me an option to reconnect. I clicked to reconnect, and now it says "no connection to camera" on the ominous black screen of which you spoke.

I went to it, and it came right up. And I am using Internet Explorer on a machine that runs Windows XP. (In other words, a REALLY outdated/unsupported system). ??????

Is that famous or infamous?

Cool. I will keep an eye out. Thanks.

Being such an important event, are they going to stream it?

I am a foam rolling believer. I wish I had known about them a decade ago, whether I needed it or not. Doing a yoga class one a week has always helped me to remain virtually pain free and bounding about like a spring chicken. I'm 46, btw.

In the end, only you will be able to decide what works best. Personally I divide my rest days: workout 3 rest 1 workout 2 rest 1. Be careful that you don't over complicate and end up with "paralysis by analysis".

What, are you joking? Everyone knows that feeling. And, depending on what weight you purchased, it's also fun to watch the UPS guy lug it up the walkway to your door. :)

#1 may help, but not a lot will change without mom helping make the change too (depending on how often she is with mom). #2 Earplugs. Seriously though, dad needs to nut up and deal with it and break the habit. Forming a specific bedtime routine helps, but again, mom will need to help with that on her end.

I am a bare-hander. When I get a new bell, i spend about an hour on the handle with sandpaper. I have used chalk a couple of times, but not regularly. Living in the desert, I don't have as much problem with the sticky handle as others do.

Manhattan on WGN is pretty good so far (only 2 episodes in). It's about the people who developed the first atomic bomb. Satisfaction is also interesting (can't remember what network). It's a new show as well. Also watch The Bridge regularly.
